I don't think we were coasting, L.A. just made a run which happens in basketball. It is hard to beat a team down from start to finish without another team making a run. At no point in the 2nd half did you think L.A. realistically had a chance. The only reason people were worried because the pessimistic side came out of them.

yeah i know.. i just wanted to respond to the notion that la was coasting game 4.. we really need to work on our intensity in the 4th, especially playing away from home

I've been a fan since 77 and i can honestly say this is probably one of the greatest team efforst in rockets history! The 81 team that went to the finals at least had the best player in the league in moses, but the team that whipped La had really no business doing so. It really was one of those spirit games. It was like something that came out of nowhere that overtook everyone and they all played over and beyond. maybe this is brooks takeoff like it has been for Rondo. He'll never be a true pg, but once he gets his mind made up to score, he can really put points up in a hurry. Shane had real, tangible production that some MIT grad doesnt have to create a new formula to explain his impact. Just a great performance.

last year, during the 22 win game streak, the western media kept saying that we weren't talented, and we were just feeding from the loss of yao. Well, if we can do that for 3 more games, we're in good shape. :)

Belief in the system. Belief in each other!

This team is so deep. Everyone can defend; everyone can score, except Hayes, but we're fine with him too. Lakers seems know Yao all too well. Now, with his absence, and they lost their focus and don't know where to cut. However, I wish Yao can play the nuggets and Cavliers. Yao can eat them alive.

This team will not lay down in LA, no matter what happens as long as we keep our composure, cut down on turnovers and give Hayes help defense on Gasol in the post we will battle LA hard.

    One game at a time.

Tuesday night, fight to the finish,

    NO LAYUPS

Great win! Go Aaron Brooks! He is reminding of Tony Parker (aside from giving assists).

Bravo to the houston rockets!!! Man after Yao ming went down I kinda started to feel bad. Was still Behind the Rockets 100% but man our role players are that dam good! All of our stars are gone but everybody contributes. Great job rockets!!!! You didn't let me down. You gotta love the hard plays. Our greatest is our defense. Defense wins championships! So proud of these Rockets. Hopefully we can steal a game in LA!............. We'll see I love you ROckets! Been a fan ever since I was born!!!!! I don't enjoy any other game besides Rockets so whenever the Rockets are out of the play-offs then there's no fun in watching. Gotta study. Now I will make a C but it was worth it!

Wrong! The best way to use him is let him just ball like parker. Parker has hit the 7 asst mark for the 1st time in his career. Brooks will get better at some decision making in time. If u put a non scorer like lowry out there along with a non scorer like battier and a limited scorer like scola and you will see a struggling team early in the game.

I laugh so hard at the fake hustle put up by the machine. He looks so busy as a lock down gun, and Aaron puts his body in front of him, and went to the hold. Sasha thinks he is better than he is. :D
