You know the team is playing good when Deke, Cook and Hayes are on the floor at the same time

I think Adelman coached a fine game even with the minutes with our best players.

    why?

It's a mentality. Adelman probably didn't want to take his main guys out and risk losing such a big lead. Why? Because then maybe the team will feel like nothing has changed. Sometimes the final box score means a lot, and it was important IMO that we blew these guys out and not let them come back. That's what good teams do.

Adelman is trying to tell them that "Hey...you guys are MUCH BETTER with the changes the past few weeks...remember when you were giving up these huge leads going into the 4th? Well they didn't even have a chance getting back into this one in the 4th."

At least I think that's why he played them so many minutes. I know teams that give up a lot of leads...once a team makes a small run they go "Dang...here we go again." and it just snowballs, that WAS the Houston Rockets of a month and back ago. Hopefully we continue to perform this way against below .500 teams.

    Aaron Brooks 3-9.

Needs to do better, rather him shoot less.

Adelman played Yao and others more min to prepare the playoff. When the playoff comes, the starters need play more min, you need start training right now. This has been mentioned by the TV guys. Adelman knows what he is doing, he is in the NBA for a while.

He should have had more points though. Brooks is always getting pounded in the paint but doesn't get calls...yet. I wish he was just two inches taller though, but we probably wouldn't have him then.

Yeah, either way he knows what he's doing. He didn't risk injury really because when Yao went out Artest came in.

You just get nervous out there with our recent injury history.

The team will be dangerous team come the playoffs. Notice how the Rockets are playing well as a team unit. This team has problems with below .500 not any more. Next game is a key game with Portland time for some pay back for that long shot clock that allow Roy to hit a game winning shot.

What is the difference b/w us and the Magic? I mean, our game concept is surround our big center with shooters which is identical with Orlando. Obviously, there are differences, but what are they?

I like Orlando and I believe w/ Nelson, they are 1st tier NBA team. But they live and die by the trey. Remember the celtic-magic game. A bad shooting night=disaster and a loss. Are we duplicating that model?

Are we a better defensive team? better game philosophy? Someone explain...

the difference is we don't have to live and die by the trey anymore.......now that rafer and tracy are gone we actually have smart ppl playing for us now.....tracy and rafer forced the 3's. we only take open 3's now. that's the difference

I am about to be called all kind of craziness
    but
the current Rocket Offense maybe a mix of the previous Two Eras
    [Dream and SF3]
A nice Mix of DUMP IT IN [Down low to Yao]
    with
a slice of DRIVE AND DISH [AB and Lowry getting to the paint and dishing]
Add a bit more motion maybe

We don't wanna be a jumpshooting team
they fizzle like the Suns in the Playoffs
