Wow very exciting game, better than expected. I guess the Wizards have more tanking experience than us. I was at the game, and even though the arena was only ~2/3 full, it still got quite loud, adding to my incredible game experience.
Unless the Rockets miss another star by 2 wins and end up trading their pick away for another Battier/Ariza defensive stopper.
Our rookies looking solid out there! also Blatche went beast - 31 points, 10 rebs (5 off), 3 assists, 4 blocks, 3 steals...wtf
The late lottery is a crapshoot. Even if someone at 11-12 ended up being a star, that player fell for a reason and there's no guarantee that we would have picked them anyway. I know some people are gun-shy after losing out on Roy. But there's a big difference between a 6th pick and a 11th pick. And a difference between going all out with your veterans in the second to the last game of the season when lottery seedings are very close, and playing your young guys in competitive situations with 10 games left in the season and requiring losing every single game to MAYBE move up to the late lottery from the later lottery.
first of all if u want respect youd not scream type at me 2nd of all u TOTALLY dont understand wat I meant, go figure of course gettin the young guys extended minutes to develop Im one of the main ppl who was saying that a few weeks ago b4 it became popular lastly Ill explain wat I meant for the mentally slower individuals.. these are meaningless games in the aspect of no playoffs to gain from winning, we're out of the playoff picture now THEREFORE losing would be preferred now for a higher position in the draft do u understand me now?
by way of our record arent they losers anyway? so wats the big deal if we lose a couple more games so we can draft a stud in the top 10 of the draft? I dont condone tanking 'cept for instances where theres not anything to gain by winning.. wat? a moral victory and an 'A' for finishing strong like the Texans? get real buddy losing to gain a better draft spot is smart, winnin and hurtin urself to be better in the future is stupid
We weren't getting the 10th pick anyway. Even if we lost every single game, we wouldn't have caught: NY, NJ, Philly, Ind, Det, Was, Minny, Sac, LAC or GS. The best we could have done is 11th.
Yes because ALL first round picks turn out superb. I mean Blake Griffin and Greg Oden are just tearing up the NBA right now. .
C'mon now...that's not fair. They're both terrific players who had some freak injuries..A better example would be Michael olowokandi
Huh? How did you get that from what I said? If all first round picks turned out great, then I would haven't care. We would always draft a star, no matter how low the pick. We would always have a star. When all the players on your draft board are traded, then the GM has to trade him for a solid player. Rockets have enough solid players Battier, Ariza, Scola, Martin, Brooks, Lowry. They need a star.
I don't even watch or care about the games that much anymore so I don't care about being entertained, I care about what is best for next season
