Great job of just flat out competing.

What a game by Chase, and our defense at the end of the 4th was amazing.

Don't get me wrong guys, I love it when the Rockets win, but quite frankly I want the Rockets to have the highest draft position that they can get. I mean I love this team, tough players, I had hope for the playoffs whatever, but crap I want to lose now.

Last time we won meaningless games we lost our chance at Brandon Roy.

Anyways, just looking at the future now, although I'm glad Bud got his moment.

Man, I really like Budinger. I hope RA gives him more playing time next year, I really think he has a lot of potential.
Nice win. I thought we would lose because we played 5 vs. 8. How can you call that carrying with 50 seconds left?? Somethink that happens in nearly every possession? Oh, I forgot, it's Kyle Lowry of the Houston Rockets, you just call that on him. Or that Jump Ball that should have been Rockets-Ball (well, at least Bud won the Jump Ball and made that Alley).

I couldn't watch the game, could someone tell me what was up with Ariza's 0-7 in 27 mins, Brooks 5-20, and how were Taylor and Harris playing?

There's a difference between 6 and 8 compared to 11 and 13. I value making sure this organization always fights and keeps a winning atmosphere compared to draft pick - Dwyer observed how the Kings work their asses off now though they suck, and I want to emulate now. Zero interest in tanking, win as much as you can and keep everyone disciplined and willing to play hard.

No team should ever tank on their home court. Unless it's a free game, you don't tank in front of a paying audience. It's logically offensive. I know it's potentially for the better in the long run, but, once again, it's offensive.

That being said, good win today.

Whats the point? We are only gonna move like 2 positions higher. And with Morey, he can find a great player from a mile away.

Also, its better for the team so they can build some chemistry and end the season on a good note.

Plus, the better the team plays, the higher the trading stock is for our players in a possible sign and trade for Chris Bosh or another all-star. Bill Worrell said something along the lines that these last 10 games, scouts look at players during these type of situations and see if they have confidence and the ability to play hard every night even though they know their not making the playoffs.

We just won a game with two second round picks logging heavy minutes and asked to fill in for a great scorer like Kevin Martin. On a night when Aaron Brooks and Trevor Ariza combined 5-27 with 13 points.

As bad as the Wizards are, that is unbelievable and a testament to Morey's ability to find diamonds in the rough. All of the major contributors tonight (Scola, Hill, Bud, JT, Lowry) were just that before we found them- diamonds in the rough.

The best we could do even if we lose all our games is 11th pick, and even that's a stretch because we'd have to make up a bunch of losses vs NOLA. There's really very little incentive to tank at this point. Not too much difference between 12-14th picks.

Glad the losing streak has ended.

Now, go in on San Antonio and bleed out the Alamo Dome with Rockets Red.

Also, there is a small possibility of an OKC/SA/ Portland collapse and we could make playoffs. It may be a bit of a stretch, but we have to believe!

I understand ppl want them to tank. They're not going to. So.....?

Is there any point to you guys coming into every single win thread and begging for them to stop winning when what you say has absolutely zero affect on the game?

Nope. There isn't. The Rockets are gonna keep winning and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. So please, just stop. Why do you have to ruin winning?

These games are far from meaningless!! These games are an extension of the 10-11 training camp. We're finding out what these players are made of & can do. Now if your season is just to get a chance at 1 draft position lower, then you may - may I say- have a point. My season is all about giving these players a chance to gain confidence & a winning mentality. I don't want players with a loosing mentality.
