Alston had another awful offensive game. I thought his defense was pretty good though.

I guess you didn't watch the last two minutes of the game where Yao was getting his shot and or getting the foul on the defender. Yao should have been the go to guy in the closing seconds but the W is what counts.

Even the OKC announcers mentioned it repeatedly

Art is what it's going to take to make a deep run in the playoffs. If we're not seeing it by March/April the Rockets aren't getting anywhere in the post-season.

Theres two reason why I think he stop going to the basket.

    1. Maybe his knee isn't ready to play a full game attacking the basket.

    2. He stop going becasue he couldn't get a call in the 2nd half.

The rockets have played 38 games. Most WC teams only played 33-34 games!

Yao had a bad game, some his own doing and some due to the refs. Anyway I'm glad for McGrady because I think he really needed a game like this to show him that he can still be effective for the team with a different approach to the game. It is a good beginning.

I was surprised Alston came in for Brooks around the 4 minute mark with the way Alston is shooting. Maybe Adelman saw something they were exploiting against him ... who knows.

We just have to stop losing to teams we should beat and I think we will be just fine. It looks like Tracy is getting better by the game, I can't wait to see how he looks the next game he plays.

That was a stupid possession. They should have run something better.

Dont say that, he is not back. After 1st half, he fade away.

he will never back even tonight against a worst team.

Why are people complaing about the shot T-Mac took, mid range jumpers are a part of his game, he probly felt comfortable taking the shot, its not like he missed it badly or anything, at least give him credit for closing the deal, McGrady hasn't always been reliable from the freethrow line in clutch situations, but he closed this one out..

why complain about something that didn't effect the outcome of the game..

Good job McGrady, keep up the good work

Yao is OK, he is doubled.
Noone can beat doubleteam very good.
Its the teamplay to beat this.

    I take Yao's D tonight and TMac's O first half.

Head has to be either really depressed or really bad. It is really scary that he is in the NBA. Some of what is does is just unbelievable.

I dont think any team would want him.

Rafer cannot be this bad offensively, can he? I dont know what to say.

A win but Rox still have Serious problems.

Better than TMACs play tonight was his broad smile and laughter with his team mates and coach if you ask me. Hope to see more of that from him. He definitely did not want to lose tonight.

he should have gotten something like 4 or even 6 free throws in the 3rd

actually i think he was agressive, he was driving to the basket. he just wasnt attempting those shots because he knew he wouldnt get a call. he passed it out to his teammates

A win is a win,I'll take it into my pocket.

Yao had a bad game tonight and the obvious bias towards Yao but at least in the last 2 minutes, refs got their head straight and blew the whistle as soon as the defenders came and fouled Yao.Nice job done tonight though it's an ugly win.

T-Mac played great throughout the 1st half but sucked somehow at the 2nd,maybe he's pumped out due to overplay himself too much? He's pushing himself and imposing his will the entire 1st half.I can see it on his face. That's the attitude he shoulda have the first 3 games of this road trip.

Anyway,Rockets pulled off a win at last, the fourth almost ruined my night though. :D

Defense was the reason that Rafer was in the game over Brooks. Adelman was worried about Von Wafer being able to guard Durant down the stretch. Rafer was helping out a lot on double teams.

Too bad Rafer's shot wasn't falling. And I'd be REALLY pissed about him coughing up that layup to Westbrook if (a) we hadn't won the game and (b) he wasn't ordinarily such a steady ballhandler.

Sometimes I hate when he goes to the basket and kick it out, because a lot of times I want him to go up with it and draw a foul. Hes hitting his FT's so nothing should stop him from going to the basket all night long.
