In AB's defense, we need to give the same amount of time the Spurs gave Tony P. It took him 2 years to get it together.

has anyone mentioned Rafer's bad shooting tonight? he was like 4 of 12...i'm about to check out the Magic forum to see if their fans still think Rafer is a 3 point specialist who's only struggling right now because he's on a new team...

The defense was good....Not enough ball movement in the 2nd half.
    Some bad officiating as usual.
    Either way good win.

    GO ROCKETS!!!

That's right. Team hustling and intense defense kept our win. Remember the Blazers are long and athetic and Yao always has problems dealing with such players.

We can't have every player playing exceptional good otherwise we would have scored 150 every game.

Team play wins this game and there'll more and more coming, go Rox!

AB is just too short to see Yao open. I mean the guy is really 5'9. Just like Yao has limitations due to his size, so does Brooks.

Tmac and Rafer has the ability to pass the ball to Yao when his in deep position.

AB size limits him from doing this play.

lowry is just good. solid defence. not many but clever assists. one 3-shot missed, predictable. the only mistake is that in a fast transition break, he tossed the ball to Yao and Yao fumbled. you should never give it to Yao in that kind of situation. no 7-footer could deal with that except P.Gasol.

he got his minutes mostly first half.

Again, i can't say enough about scola. He is just something else.
The oppossition notices the long hair, the gentle look, the accent, and automatically, like rasheed, assume scola is garbage. By the end of the first quarter, they realize they've walked into an ambush.

On a side note, yao should have been able to dominate easily, but the refs allowed Prytz to get away too much as often is the case. The rim also played solid defense on the 3 plays.

That's the point, Brooks is not Parker. Sorry, but he's not as talented and not nearly as effective penetrating.

Has anyone noticed how good AB hits the boards. He's averaging 5 per over the last 3. More impressive is almost half of those are offensive boards. I hope he keeps it up.

    RON ARTEST IS A BEAST!

    SCOlA IS UNDERRATED!

    GOOD WIN!

Brooks and Lowry are still a better fit than Alston and Brooks on the Rockets...
