Did you ever watch The Dream! He had a lot of finesse in his game, and chose to lay it up, when he could of dunked it alot of the time.

    Watch some of his highlights.

Seriously, video needs to go to the league on this one.

7:53 or so in the 3rd quarter, Yao takes 2 Portland bigs in the paint, there is no contact on the shot whatsoever (right?) and he travels (really?) on the shot, meaning that the goaltend (never) that happened doesn't count 2, and all is right with the world.

Then blood emerges from Yao's brow, as if by magic and certainly not as the result of a hack.

BS. Yao got hammered all night long and the ref's swallowed the whistle. Rockets need to face the music. If you call guys like Shaq and Yao fairly, they score 50 every night. The league punishes the big man in a vain attempt to save the game for its poster boys. Shame.

At least we can rest easy knowing that the ref's never conspire to fix a game or a score. No evidence of that ever happenning.

We didn't play well down the stretch and Yao didn't play particularly well all game but we still got a gritty win and fourth place in the West for now. Lets hope Landry is back on Thursday and that we can extend our winning streak.

Scola is definitely the MVP tonight. Gave us a lot of second chances. The extra possessions also helped us by burning more time off the clock which was good since we had the lead but weren't able to hit any shots.

Why? Yao couldn't get the ball. And when he was open for a moment under the basket, other Rox players just don't see him.

Yao's performance is slightly below his average. this always happens when Yao miss his first 3 shots(and today including a monstrous dunk). he would become nervous, unsure of himself, losing the touch then stop being agressive.

Yao's mental problem is right the opposite of tmac's. tmac is lack of pressure and drive, Yao is having too much pressure. when things turn bad the pressure chokes him from time to time.

take it easy man, enjoy the basketball and beat the crap out of rivals and yourself!

Yao misses more dunks than anyone I can think of.

The guy can be so embarrassing at times to root for.

No one is accusing AB of iso'ing anyone. He has bad half court vision and it needs to get better quick.

There are 3 other players besides brooks that can get Yao the Rock, let's try them. Especially Shane who is a prettty good passer.

    SOMEONE!

Can someone tell me what happened? I check the scoreboard at halftime and we were up 17. I check it again now, holding my breath, knowing that I would see something ugly - and I did. Recap, please? What went wrong in the 2nd half? thanks

this is so wrong. we only scored 5 field goals in the forth thanks to ab and ra holding the ball a bit too long. but some just look at who hit the last 6 ft's.

it's just the opposite. they started to front yao, and yao got open in the middle of the lane several times. the pass either didn't come or came late resulting 3 seconds.

the more games we play, the more i like kyle over aaron. but adelman will probably favor aaron anyway.

Yao cant get possitioning bc of his size and bc he us covered, Ron the shots he takes are mostly contested. BC of his speed and the pick and rolls AB is the one who can consistantly get open looks, thats just the way it is. I like that Scola got the ball in the end eventhough there was a bull crap called on him. But atleast he got the ball when it mattered and rightfully so, he is the man right now in my opinion and also Artest. Bc right now i dont know what the hell is up with Yao. I dont know if he is slacking off in the gym now that the olympics have passed bc he looks so slugish out there. When he tries to get rebounds even that are right in front of him a little guard comes and gets the ball over him. I know its bc of his size, he i think he should also comand his space more and get out there for those rebounds. His rebounding is really really bothering me.

Yao miss the two dunks after he missed his two shots????

I think he is just too sensational. He just wants to blow out.

What do you think about that?
