Worked well, but against a better defensive team, I don't think Scola would get the same looks for those jump shots down the stretch. But I guess it helped that Lowry and Battier were making their shots as well.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Just got back from the game. It was expecting a mixed reaction to Tmac, but the boos vastly outnumbered the cheers. Just for grins, my and they guy next to me (who hates Tmac) started clapping. I remember Steve Francis's first game back as well, they booed him also. Kind of overboard of you ask me, but oh well.

Great game by the Rockets. We played good defense, and Scola was beastin! Lowry had a nice double double, he really is plaing well. Aaron is going to have to earn that starting spot back when he returns.

Hopefully we can keep up the momentum and string a few victories together.

    GO ROCKETS

Could be a winning streak. Derrick Rose made aimpossible shot though. Thats what happens when you have a closer or star level player. Nice win

I respect your opinion, but we're talking about what the fans at Toyota Center felt. I didn't use my professor X powers to control their minds, they did what they felt like at the moment.

I didn't go to the game, I went to a couple games this year and you just never know the emotion and buzz of the crowd.

I don't dislike McGrady, but I didn't like how he left the organization. that being said, I probably wouldn't give him a cheer or a boo, I'd probably eat a hot dog or something because I think he's irrelevant .

however, I do think his fans are hypocrites. they are very vocal here and yet they don't show up to support their hero.

you're right, Toyota Center fans are classy and they are usually forgiving folk. However, they must have had a strong opinion about Tracy to react like that.

Didn't he state that he didn't care what the fans thought about him? He didn't care what the Magic fans felt, so why would we care about what Houston fans thought?

His shooting woes continued, including missing two out of three FTs after getting fouled at the 3-point line.

But more troubling was his defense. He picked up some quick fouls early and then in the second half, the Pistons just went right at him every chance they had.

I think the Rockets can live with Bud's shooting slump for now, but when he struggles with his defense, he hurts the team more.

RTM - there's a big difference between Yao and T-Mac. T-Mac deserves the boos, Yao doesn't.

T-Mac is lazy. Yao is a hard worker.
T-Mac turned on his own team. Yao is always supportive.
T-Mac openly called out the Coach, GM, Front office. Yao never.
T-Mac acted like a douchebag. Yao is class all the way.

Don't compare the two although right now, there is a lot of Yao hate due to uneducated fans.

Yao doesn't deserve the hate. Yeah he is recovering from a major foot injury but if you can't support a guy like Yao in his recovery year, you are not a fan but a hater.

Budinger is like catnip to the other team. They go at him and past him every chance they get. Like Clyde says, their eyes light up.

    Bottom dwellers no more! WOOT!

Tmac's answer when asked how he felt about the boos from the crowd: "It's on me".

I missed the game. If somebody can make a clip who DVR'ed it with T-Mac being subbed into the game for the first time, and the crowd reaction // commentary at that moment I would appreciate it. Thanks

Nice game and kudos to Scola and Lowry. Overall, the team was still a bit shaky and prone to the strange letdowns and periods of droughts. I wish they will be able to address their bad tendencies during this relatively easier stretch in their schedule.

Off one game? Lets hope with a lil playing time he gets on point . Same goes for Lee when he is running point. He did great on Rose and defending in general but not too fond of his choices of play.

Anyway lets give them some time. As for Bud... I dunno he just getting depressing to see. He hits some shots and all but I dunno...

the last game I went to, OKC game, I got a hot dog. I had a ticket so I could have bought anything else at toyota center, but the hot dog sounded pretty good at that time.
