Last defense on Billup's lay-up by Battier; Artest saved the ball to regain possession; then Lowry's 2 successful free-flows = this win.

Great defense won the game, though in an ugly manner but that's what great teams would do if their offense (Yao and Scola) was not efficient.

Now next team to be beaten: The Fakers.

Putting aside Yao's massive brain fart, the worst free throw shooting of the year, and another collapse after a big lead, the Rockets at times looked "rugged." I can't remember when I last said that. Yes, the big and little softies have gotten tougher. I don't know exactly when and how, but it has happened. They are playing more physical and aggressive. Whether this is the influence of Artest or the exit of TMac, the team has changed, for the better.

Massively important win. They will be beat the Lakers on Wednesday, promise.

Missed alot of FTs. That's a problem that can be fixed.\

Brooks missed a lot of drives, but at least he can get deep into the paint anytime he wants. He just has to get used to shooting around all that traffic. Made the big cactus look rooted in that last game.

    Yao got an easy night.

Deke needs some run. It's probably his last season, so might as well use him. I mean, at what point do you work him into the rotation? Is he in the playoff rotation or only there for foul-trouble situations?

A very good win, but the Rockets has got to learn how to close out games.

For some reason, they have a propensity to make bad decisions (dumb fouls,

bad shots, going one-on-one too often, and not running the offense just like

they did the previous three quarters) in the last half of the fourth quarter.

True...i never seen Yao commit anything that dumb especially knowing that he got only 1 foul left and the team can't afford losing him.

    Great win :)
I don't believe FT will be this bad any more.
But PG is still our issue should not be covered by an invaluable win.

actually, we should thank for this ugly win. sometimes rockets should learn how to hang on there and fight until last minute without their big stars. It may happen in playoff!

A wins a win and a plus for me for calling the ending right. I should take David Stern's place.

Wow, cant believe some of you are disappointed with this win. We just got a win against the one of the best teams in the west, on a back-to-back in high altitude. I was expecting a close game and this is what we got. A win is a win.
    Great win for the Rockets.
