Are people still defending Martin??? Don´t do it, let his game teach these haters These AB lovers are constantly saying for us Houston Rockets fans, to not hate on a PG that only had to improve 2 things in his game for this year, Defense, and the assist per turnover number, even knowing that he has been unlucky (injury), he has not shown us any improvement on these 2 areas. But after they defend AB blindly, they hate on Martin, the guy that is caring us consistently on the offense end of the floor, with a leading efficiency league wise, and is showing (not consistently), good defensive games. Look, people would not say it, but, do you know why did we won the game tonight???? Because Hayes Owned Blake Griffin, and Martin got Eric Gordon out of the first half early with foul trouble, you could see on Eric Gordons face at the start of the 2nd half, he was dead cold and mentally out of the game because he was so many time on the bench, of course he still scored 18, but if he started as hot as the team did early, he would easily go for 30 in this game..... but hey, that doesn´t appear on the boxcore, and even if it did, the Martin haters would not recognize, and still say he is overrated. It was nice seeing Patrick Patterson get some meaningful playing time. He looked really good... 8-Min 2-Points 2-Reb 1-Blk Hope they increase his minutes.
Brooks' usage last year and this year: 25.7/25.3 Lowry's usage last year and this year: 18.6/17.2 And yes, those numbers are scaled to a per-minute basis so the disparity in playing time has no factor (otherwise Lowry's usage this year would not be lower than it was last year).
good game. glad we pulled it out, though a few things need kinked (A.B), but overall a good win. lol i usually go to other team's forums to check out what the opposing fans are saying, and man..the clippers fans are pretty pissed/ignorant. i mean does it take that much of a brain to get on the lakers bandwagon http://clippers.topbuzz.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-6219.html just in case you fancy a peak..
good $hit! scola did not foul aminu!!! ref just tried to give them the win before christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good win. Any win on the road is a good win. The boyz will have a few good days of deserved rest for their good play. Hopefully, Brooks will use those days to get the remaining rust out of him. We need the Brooks from last year for the tough stretch in January and February if this team is going to make any noise.
I just saw this on one of the comments... "Finally Brian Cook. If he had been there we would have won because they couldn't pack the paint." - Clipper All-Star That is sad and hilarious all at the same time.
He's actually been more useful to them this year than he ever was for houston. He's had some good games from behind the arc.
"We needed points, so we were trying to take 3s to get back into the game if we didn't have a 2," Griffin said. "But I missed too many easy ones tonight, and that hurt us. I thought we had energy all the way through, and we kept fighting and fighting. But they hit shots. Kevin Martin played extremely well, especially down the stretch."
they won and now are one more game closer to 500 and if things go as i expect they should be 16-16 by the start of jan the playoffs are definitely within reach
Just a simple question and a simple answer. If a guard averages 20 pts and 6 asst and another averages 16 pts and 8asst is there any difference in your mind?
At this point the Rockets have enough scoring. The most important position to defend is PG. Lowry is the better two way player.
Its not that simple, but defense (especially interior) is one of the rockets glaring weaknesses, whereas our offense seems to be rolling as the way its run in the past 10 games.
