Didn't get to see the game. Any objective analysis of Jordan's game would be helpful. Stat-line obviously looks good.
Rox graduated from D-league status tonight. Jordan Hill commanded some presence around the basket tonight for sure. He played great defense and did an awesome job of rebounding. Shows a soft touch in the post too. This guy is gonna be good if he keeps up this kind of work ethic through the season and into the summer.
It would've looked even better had he got the ball in the 2nd half of the game. His efficiency reminds me of.... Carl Landry.
I doubt it will be. The Rockets need him and Martin to get familiar with one another. I would be willing to put money on him starting the game on Saturday.
ITT Lowry fanboys try to use this game as proof that he should start and Brooks should be traded. Lowry's line? FGM-A: 1-6 6 points 3 rebounds 4 assists Brooks' line? FGM-A: 5-13 14 points 3 rebounds 2 assists So much for that idea, Lowry fanboys.
Clearly, you don't look at the stats OR watch the team play. You just spout whatever bull first comes to mind.
showed great sense of ball around the baskets and on boards great finish around the basket just like landry missed several defensive rotations overall, still raw, needs more practice.
For the record, I like both Lowry and Brooks. They are both great in the roles they currently play. I'm not the one gunning for a Houston Rocket's job. I like Lowry doing just what he's doing--coming off the bench as a sparkplug and a change-of-pace point guard. I want them both on the team.
