ESPN really sucks where the Rockets are concerned. During the commercials last night, I'd switch to back to the Spurs/Jazz game, which started at 8:30. During the pre-game show, an ESPN anchor(I forget his name) and Chris Mullin were gushing over Blake Griffin. The anchor said the Clippers were playing the Bucks while ESPN was showing 1st half highlites of the Rockets/Clips. At 1 point they showed a close-up of Kevin Martin making a shot & he said that Martin was keeping the Bucks in the game. They showed a couple of Griffin highlites, but no footage of Hayes defensive job against Griffin. After the Rockets game, I switched back to the Spurs/Jazz. In the 2nd half the game announcers were gushing over De Juan Blair's game. One of the announcers said "De Juan Blair is the shortest starting post player in the NBA." Is ESPN carrying the Rockets/Spurs game Saturday? It'll be fun to see what they say when Hayes starts against Blair. :grin:
Chuck Hayes owns Blake Griffin. Seriously, both times we've played the Clippers I've wondered what's so special about Griffin after each game. Of course, before we play them I see his amazing per game stats. Every team should have a Chuck Hayes.
