If we do well on this upcoming road-trip, our schedule gets SO MUCH easier. Good Win in the 4th, Dallas beware!

I can see Patterson taking more and more of Hill's minutes. He's smaller but plays better defense, can shoot those mid range shots, and puts in a lot of effort to grab a rebound or a loose ball. Doesn't commit dumb fouls all the time either. Patterson just has the mentality of a veteran.

I don't think he can cover for Hayes at the center position but from watching this game, I think playing Hayes and Patterson together might be our best defensive front court.

Lay off on Hill guys. Yes that was an embarrassing dunk attempt but Cook had a much nastier rejection on the best dunker of all-time in Vince Carter earlier this year.

What about how Brooks almost let them back in the game near the end? The guy shouldn't handle the ball - it is a disaster waiting to happen.

He was lucky tonight, because immediately after, Lowry took pver bal handling reponsibilites and found Shane for an open 3, then knocked down a three him self.

I hope Pat has proved to rick he deserves Hills minutes. When Pat is on the floor he can play 4 while Scola and Hayes play the 5. No need for Hill, problem solved.

That's because running around like a headless chicken Scola is always in charge of guarding him.

Yep, Brooks should never be out there on the floor by himself. He needs Lowry. So its going to come down to either trading him or Martin. Do you want a 5'10" SG or a 6'7" one.

Dude, you REALLY need to give it a rest. We get it. You hate Brooks.

But, when every other post is "Brooks sucks...", it shows your maturity and intellect. Grow up.

He "found Shane for an open 3"??? Kyle did just what Brooks has been doing too much of lately - dribbling out the shot clock then forcing a bad shot or passing to a teammate with a couple of seconds on the clock - and Shane bailed him out.

Brooks is struggling - period. He was averaging 18 and 6 on 39% shooting on threes when he went down (through 4.5 games).

"Ish can do much better"? You want to make a ridiculous statement like that - about a guy who has hit more big shots and game winning shots than the rest of the team - combined? About someone coming off a Most Improved Player award, led a short handed and under manned team to a 42-40 record last year and has proven himself in playoff games?

The guy is trying to come back from a severe injury that kept him out nearly two months and at the same time adjust his game to coming off the bench.

He's in a BAD funk right now. Everyone can see it.

But, you want to bash the guy everytime you post during the game?

The guy's track record says he'll be back and playing at a high level. We'll see. (whether it's here or somewhere else in a month)

    Move on already - please.

Cool Bro. Yeah Sorry about the Brooks thing. I know I get carried away with him, Bud and Hill. I understand your point - It does indeed highlight my depth (or lack of it), since thats l I talk/whinge/nag about.

I will move on. Thanks for telling me poiltely. Much appreciated.

So will the Chuck Wagon finally start getting some consideration for DPOY? There is probably not a better-skilled defensive player in the league, especially given his lack of size.

I was right there with you on Bud earlier. Thankfully, he's playing much better right now.

Hill - frustrates me to no end. He continuously fails to move his feet in an attempt to cut off or stop dribble penetration. This is why he gets called for so many fouls and doesn't block as many shots as he should. He just doesn't anticipate well.

I was hoping he'd be traded so that it'd free up some minutes for Patterson. After tonight, maybe that's not even necessary (although I have a feeling it was more to do with matchups in Adelman's eyes).

As much as I like Chuck, its hard to make a case or that when he's the starting center on one of the worst defensive teams in the league. He does a great job given his physical limitations, but the fact is he's playing out of position and he doesn't provide one of the most important things for a good defense -- rim protection.
