we've foiled the jazz's first defensive strategy: flopping.

let's hope we don't fall for their backup defensive attack:

I thought we could win but I expected it to be very tough. The story of the season has been the ability of the team to comeback whenever they have been expected to be knocked out. I'm proud of the team tonight. Keep on fighting, play smart,we can still force a Game 7 despite being on the road again.
    Believe in the Houston Rockets!

Just got back from the game. I told you guys they would win for my 30th bday!!!!

It's amazing what happens when other players make shots, huh?

Now let's take Game 6 and get back for Game 7.

Kudos to T-Mac and the rest of the team. I really liked Bobby jackson's game tonight.

I normally would bash T-Mac but great job.

One thing I dont understand is that T-Mac seemed to be going to the basket more after he proclaimed his injury. That shows some toughness. I applaud you sir and my hat goes off to you.

I hope we can keep this up.

I think Deke in the 3rd qt was huge. His size, shot blocking, an rebounding.

I give BJax credit for this win. He sparked our offense which blew the game wide open. Dude is lightning in a bottle off the bench...what James should've been.

I have a question about Scola from the game. I was in the car when he went nuts during the 3rd quarter, and was wondering what was it that he was doing differently? Was he getting better looks from poor defense, or was he just finishing better?

Here's to hoping he can repeat on Friday.

    GO ROCKETS!

I believe Scola to be the heart of this team, and he played great. He also got decent calls. Thats all it takes for us to win. Everyone feeds off him. TMac can get his without much help, but it takes everything rolling to secure the win, and Scola, I believe, more than any other player, is at the center of what it takes for our whole team to get going.
BJax and Rafer were great at PG, together they outplayed Deron.
    Deke was great.
    Landry was solid.
    TMac was dominant.
Head hasn't shaken his playoff bugaboos yet, but I count on him hitting some key threes in game six.

Overall, we played strong enough to get some calls tonight. I believe the Adelman rhetoric that we have to be the aggressors, and that if we become a reactionary team to what Utah is doing then we won't win. We need to hit first and go right at what we want to do. Great job tonight. Not done yet.

    uh, he kept playing?

every game scola is going to get better. his misses and his fouls and flops are all part of the normal cycle of getting acclimated to how the NBA playoffs are officiated. and he's been fine to this point, no scola and game 1 would have been even uglier

this aint aimed at you jedicro but what is it with all the little b****es? have faith in your players, I was LMAO with all the scola criers who tucked tail and started kissing his ass in the 2nd half and had to move onto crying about luther head

now that they they can no longer QQ about tmac and alston the QQers have sunk their teeth into scola. it's like some bandwagon of homerism

    seriously it's obvious that

    1) scola is a rookie and needs time to adjust to the playoffs
    2) he will only get better
    3) as a rook the refs OWN him
    4) we CANNOT win without him

i think you will GLADLY eat crow though if you're wrong, like most of us.

to defend him, luther did have a strong stretch in game 5 last yr (the only game the role players stepped up really last yr).

cmon luther, one game wonder? one game please :(
