i know yao considers shaq his idol

but why show that guy any respect... when he does not really show you any...

every compliment he gives yao... is a backhanded compliment... and does not really sound sincere... "yao's 7"9... you cant stop him"

and after watching the video of the fight... after he shoves tmac to the ground... he shoves yao to the ground... for really no reason

yao - quit looking up to the fat bum...

too bad all the highlights concentrate on the fight... and not on yao's shanghai shake

still think we need deke back... anyway we can get tyrus thomas, joakim noah or drew gooden from the bulls... they are stacked at the PF position

Terry Porter was Rick Adelman's PG for along time. A little NBA history for ya.

I didn't see anything wrong that he said.

How would you rate Alston's wolverine slash on Nash's neck?

They specifically pointed out that part of the scrum on NBA TV. :D

I'll be surprised if Alston doesn't get at least a one-gamer. Remember, this is the "new NBA". As Eric Snow put it, the league has to keep up a good image.

At last Yao pulls off a real Shanghai Shake! The bigger but slower version of Hakeem's signature move.

anyone else notice that the rockets aren't as "nice" as they were last season.
its almost as if all that talk about how we needed artest's toughness, and that last years group was "too nice" and "cordial" got to them, and they are trying to show that they aren't soft.

What about Yao actually dunking the ball tonight. That made me happy, to see him play with some passion like he belonged on the court.

ahhh wat a relief!! Im so glad they won. took all the misery i had for the previous game. they are 2-2 now, for this road trip. 3-2 would be good. now lets rip the ailing Spurs apart!! we cant let this game against the spurs slip away.

He actually did not make a FG, he got 2 points on a goaltending call.

Honestly, Barry has looked like crap....

Everyone calling skip dumb and stupid for getting in his face but isnt this the year when we "GET RED" well he got red. He didnt go and tell and got up in dudes face. It never looked like he was throwing a punch but he wasnt going to sit there and take it. Im proud of Skip.

Just thought it was an interesting quote. Scola did a good job on him, imho, and after that he never really got rolling. There was a moment there after the "altercation" that I thought he and Shaq might get fired up, but it never materialized. I give credit to team defense on that one, we were doing a much better job of help and recover last night.
