Look at 1:39. Rafer knows how to get his licks in. Maybe he did shank that guy. :p

    Scola had a disappointing night.

Barry didn't shoot well. He had a nice assist, though.

If you want to win big you can't play Stoudemire at Center. He is a terrible post defender. Actually, he doesn't even try.

Amen! I jumped right out of my seat for all those highlights! Yao held his ground, TMac on fire, and AB is just amazing!!!! Rafer is not bad either this game.

Ron Artest at times looked hesitant, deferred too much and he could be more assertive. His forced a few shots when the time running out. He is a victim of our still-stagnant offense. When all 3 are on, this team can really be called a contender.

great game. but im worried that tmac and artest are never "on" in the same game. we're gonna need them to both be "on" when we play the better teams. and i dont think we need to do anymore searching for another pg, cause brooks has arrived! when battier comes back, we're going to have brooks, artest, an landry come off the bench!

Remind me last year Rockets bounced back from lose to 76ers.

Typical Rockets winning game. Excellent defense. OK offense.
Still get room to improve in order to beat Lakers.

I smell winning streak coming :D

We lost the rebounding battle again. This will hurt us in the long run if it continues. It's a function of both our inferior frontcourt length as well as our lack of good positioning and boxing out. Our bigs are just watching shots go up and forgetting about opposing players. The coaches need to get this corrected. I'm surprised it hasn't improved much yet.

Other than the Lakers game, we aren't turning the ball over. For a slower team, low TOs is crucial. We need to keep it up.

Artest is obviously shooting horribly. My best guess as to why is that he put on 15-20 lbs of muscle this offseason. He'll probably lose some of that weight during the season which should help. He will improve one way or the other.

Barry is a horrible defender. I can't for the life of me figure out why Adelman not only let him defend Barbosa in the 1st half but did the same in the 2nd half.

The movement was better tonight but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Still too much one-on-one basketball. If T-Mac wasn't shooting well, which is more often than not, this game probably goes the other way. We can't count on those heat checks going in consistently. The Rockets only had 13 assists to the Sun's 11. Phoenix won't look this bad next time we play them.

    Very entertaining game.

This was by far the most fun game to watch, followed by the Mav's game.

Matt Barnes caused a ripple effect by elbowing Rafer

He should be definitely suspended for at least 1 game and fined

Anyway,we pwned them night in and night out.there's no excuse for them to be that terrible

we are still too much of a 1-on-1 team

i saw that the team was trying to run the motion offense...

but really... it always came down to tmac 1on1 or aaron 1on1 or yao posting up

there is motion... but the correct passes are not being made...

i think scola is the best choice to play the high post... he can be like webber... big man who can pass and make an open jump shot

Good win over a team that's kinda in the same boat as the rox. I'm glad yao stepped up to the challenge. He didn't dominate a older shaq like shaq dominated a older hakeem. Oh well, I guess I'm being picky. On another note, Brooks is doing what I thought he would do and that's be uncontainable. The rules of no hand checking is tailor made for smaller guards. He should start, rafer off the bench. Tracy hit some shots as well as rafer.

I think the rebounding problem is a result of opposing teams penetrating our defense and forcing Yao to leave his man to contest the shot. Ron is a good defender but he gets beat off the dribble alot. Battier is a more disciplined defender who should help us contain penetration when he returns to the lineup. Tmac and Ron are consistantly allowing their man to get into the middle of the defense and that is causing alot of problems. Battier is the solution.
