LOL pathetic. He's had multiple decent games for us, but if you're only going to focus on shooting %, it's no shock that you would post such a misinformed statement.

So much for that whole theory of T-Mac playing well or leading the team in scoring = LOSS.

Its amazing to analyze the human brain. There has been nothing but negative criticism against TMAC and Yao; however, after one game fans are doing a complete 180. Where did the trade TMAC threads after this victory in a tough place to play. The bottom line is the team is a work in progress. We have added 1 key player in the offseason who is still trying to blend and find his role on the team. Our best defensive player Shane Battier is still out with an injury. Until we have all of our players healthy and playing as a cohesive unit for atleast 20 to 30 games, we will not find out if this team is championship material. As a fan there is constructive criticism and stupidity. The trading of Yao and McGrady will put us in the lottery for the next few years, then the postseason will never come into the discussion. Fans need to exercise patience and ultimately the dream of a championship will be realized. Proof of that is 94 and 95 after years of failiure in the playoffs. I have said my peace. Go Rockets!!!

In GSW, Barnes played well from bench. Maybe he don't accustomed to starter position. I think he is fine.

Although laker went 7:0, I still have uneasy feeling about their ability to maintain on that level. Some losses in early season are not so bad. Rockets is still cool.

I think to keep samity, you have to be real about your team. You can be critical both positive and negative, just be real about it. If a guys sux, state your reasons why. If the guy is good, take your fandom out of it. I think we have a couple of different factions on this board. I the we have rocket fans and we have fans of the rockets because of yao. There is a sensitivity of the latter because of his "hero" status. The regular rocket fans are the long term what's best for the team. Its a debate that tend to split the board.

rafer alston - player of the game. for really putting on a show (barnes' shoving included) :D

the difference was the defense. it was the best defensive effort from the team this season. and it was also nice to see yao doing his work on the boards.

hope that we go on from here and don't regress to l.a. form again.

He still hasn't "arrived" and throws some pretty horrendous passes... but yes, he may indeed be a diamond in the rough.

it sucks that rafer got ejected. I wonder how much he would have had if he stayed on the court. He had his shot 2night. I hope he keeps it up. Whatever the guys talked about in that players only meeting i hope they keep doing what they did against the Suns

How about the Clippers game where his defense on Baron Davis was one of the biggest keys to winning that game? He shot well until the 4th quarter. Or how about the Lakers game where he was key in getting that 16 point lead? Despite losing by a bunch, he only had a +/- of -1. Very telling. He once again led the team with +17 in the Suns game.

T-mac proved that he isn't "done" any time soon. And if t-mac doesent have a great night vs. the spurs, don't turn on him again.

And there is a third group which is made up by the haters. Actually you don't need to look farthuer than the 1st page to find threads started by these fools. Here is one.

Has Yao gotten one real rebound yet this year?

The fact that you seem to fail to see such threads and didn't say anything about such haters shows you are unquestionably biased.

No offense, but you appear to be hypocritical to me.

One more thing too add that I love about McGrady's game against Suns.

His 3s of course, he was 4/4 in the 2nd half and he had a really great elevation on his shots. It remainded me of his Orlando's days. It were not open 3s, maybe only one was easy. the other 3 vere well contested jumpers. Like he used to do it in Orlando.

I hope to see more of that.

anyone else pissed off about the bad press the rockets have gotten for the scuffle last night?

first espn ticker reads "rafer alston initiated the altercation." then sports center says all of it started with tmacs "hard screen" on nash... um tmac stod there, barely set a lazy screen which nash barely ran into.

finally, around the horn talked about te rockets bringing "thier unique style of basketball" to the desert.

I care about these media outlets, like ESPN and FOX (Sports) News as much as I do maggots in the garage dumpster.

Whocares what the media says...they're are not some threshold of grand judgement. Most of them are nothing, but 2nd rate journalists, anyway.

Dude... Rafer is NOT a good point guard... last night the moon was blue, but you see how good this team can be with decent point guard play. Its the most important position on the court and we go in every night at a disadvantage.
