The win was great. It easily could have been a 20-point Dallas blowout, but the D came back to life, and AB got to prove himself. We shut Dirk down and won depiste some of their role players being in the zone.
That was nice game. AB was moving well like starter pg, and if he continues like that we wouldnt have problem about that thin position in the team. Artest was shooting good and I expected more from Scola. Battie great diffence on Dirk. 3 in a row thats good,im sure 4 with charlote. ARTEST=IronMan
To be honest it felt good seeing Alston go 1-9 in his debut and watch Brooks go 7-15 as the new starter.
no more freaking missed 1-9 teardrop layups!! good bye Reefer. Wait til they get some practices together!! How sweet it is!
I actually attended the game therefore I didnt really get to see all the replays.. Was it just me ot the Lowry play horrible defense and gave up a couple of free wide open 3's in the first half???? Good game regardless!!
I saw that too, bt I think brooks made the right decision. Artest wanted the ball so he could dump it to Yao. Brooks ran a high screen and roll with Scola becase Barrea is easy to pick off and Bass is a pretty bad defender. I think Brooks did the right thing.
Real good game, and the crowd at the toyota center was sounding like the Summit back in the days. It was such a great feeling to see brooks finish the game knowing that Adelman couldnt substitute Rafer in to lose the game. We won in the draft by getting brooks....Landry and scola also
it looked like artest wanted him to dump the ball to yao and draw the dbl team and kick back out to AB for a three, either way good play and great win!!
lol, you expected more from scola?....what do you expect, 20 & 20? The guy isnt named Luis Chamberlain
Expecting more from Scola?!? He limited Dirk to 9 points, got some crazy key offensive boards, and 15 and 15 speaks for itself. Overall, this game proved that Brooks still has plenty of room for improvement. Yes he made cold blooded 3s, but he had 4 turnovers. He drove to the lane and forced shots that he shouldn't have, one of which led to a cold rejection. Plus, with the whole Ron waving his arms thing, maybe Adelman wanted to make a statement that, yes Aaron is ready to start and take big shots on the team's behalf. Maybe AB had to hog the ball just a little this one game, and from now on he'll be a little more smart about distributing the ball. Then again, maybe Aaron's ego will grow after this game and he may begin to play more selfishly (which I hope isn't the case).
50% of tmac??... I would rather see full effort from Von Wafer than a half of a half ass effort from tmac...
