Maybe some stats guru here could do some analysis on Yao's FGA. How does it relate to his efficiency and team performance? I somehow have this impression that when he shoot under 15 times, he usually has a very good shooting percentage and very high efficiency. And the team usually does pretty well. If the offense is heavily concentrated on Yao and he shoots more than 15, very rarely he's going to have high efficiency and our offense usually stinks.
Ron will not play Monday. Bill said he will have another MRI on Saturday and then the decision will be made.
Even Chaunce is not sure he can make 12/12 free throws + most of the moves start from Yao, great night!
He's forcing his game. When he's effective, he's playing in a solid flow. Lately has been forcing terrible shots. I don't think people should bash the dude though. He's had some really good ups, and some really bad downs. He's kind of like a poor man's Jason Terry. There's nothing wrong with that. Last night it didn't hurt us , but it gets magnified when Rafer shoots poorly as well. If we make a move for a PG like a lot of people seem to want, it will be at the expense of AB's minutes. That being said, I don't think that trade is on the horizon this season
Even though Rafer shot well this game, I don't agree with one of your worst shooters taking 5 more shots then one of your most efficient scorers. Great win though.
Typically, you're correct. However, Rafer hitting his shots opened up the offense. The heat basically made the decision to let Rafer beat them, and he did. Yao was outstanding, Wafer's shot was off, but he was still valuable. It really amuses me that some people have said "Battier sucked", he played an outstanding game. Landry is really stepping up his game
I am glad to see Rafer practising his shooting again. He should continue practising. The last few games (Since the season started, he has been shooting awfully).
I hear what you are saying, and it appears that way when he actually has a decent game, but the dude is CONSISTENT. He is consistently bad with the rare game that makes him appear to be inconsistent.
Nice! Some of the folks didn't understand your post. I see it as commentary on how fickle fans can be, and how we just blow with the wind. On a bad day we hate a player, next we love him. I don't know who Razor Ramon is. Is that a boxer or something?
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I found it funny that some people are too dense to realize my irony. I'm not a T-mac only fan. If anything, I'm probably a Purvis Short only fan, since my shot has quite a bit of rainbow in it. Since Short retired, I cheer for the Rockets still, but I'm ashamed at some of my fellow Rockets fans. Some people are so worried about what color Wafer's dump is, instead of who's been carrying this franchise in the post Dream era.
