I can't wait for the R2k download of the game. This was a great win. Need to keep it on the next road trip. The type of teams that the Rockets had struggles with earlier this season.
This was Cleveland's worst game of the season due in major part to the Rockets' defense. You don't score 10 and 11 points in a quarter as the number 1 team in the East without the defense doing a damn good job.
I guess the truth is a reality they don't want to accept. So they'll diminish the great defensive and offensive effort by the Rockets, and write this off as bad game by LJ and the Cav's. They really need to stop fooling themselves and just eat crow.
Yao keeps his promise.Payback time after the rotten officiating in Cleveland.Nice to see Ron and Wafer picking up the scoring in the 4th when it was needed. Great defense all night long. Lowry looked good at the 1 tonight, made me feel a bit more confident having him in there when Brooks wasn't doing particularly well. Hope Landry comes back soon.
Dude, can you at least watch the game - we have online TV now - before you make a uninformed statement like that? He can't shoot it when he's being swarmed by the doubles.
Lol, I watch A LOT of NBA Ball including the Cavs. This was just plain and simple great defense. If you watch the Rockets recently, this is nothing new, we're holding teams to around 88ppg man. We just get NO CREDIT for doing what we do as always evidenced in your post.
Last game was also probably Portland's worst offensive output for the season. When every other game your opponent is having their worst night of the season, you know your defense is working pretty good.
Great win for the Rockets tonight. The defense was outstanding (although, the Cavs were missing their open shots also). With that said, now will be the real test for this team. They play 3 back-to-backs in 9 days, including a game at home on Tuesday and then a game in Utah on Wednesday. If they still look like this during that stretch... I'll be completely sold on this team.
great game by the fellas........yao was the man....scola, lowry and wafer were key.....and huge props to artest, battier for the job on lebron.....i think stopping cleveland and specifically lebron was more of a team effort. had tmac and alston been playing......i think lebron and williams would have torched us in both positions respectively......
Charles Barkley is lucky that there isn't a law that says you could go to jail for saying stupid things. He would be given life without the chance of parole.
Yeah, they'll never eat it or give us credit. The worst part is if we're eliminated early in the playoffs, we'll get no credit at all. I bet you at halftime they'll talk about the Lakers game and after that they'll give a brief rundown and Charles will say Lebron just had a bad night. It's okay though, i'm convinced it's better to be the underdogs than everyone saying "You're the ****!" so I rather be the underdog. 'You got no fear of the underdog, that's why you will not survive!'
ESPN showed all of his bad plays. They talked about our strong help defense and the play of Artest and Battier. They didn't give us a LOT of credit but still they didn't lessen it with cheap shots at us either.
