Just complete disrespect to Aaron Brooks.

He said 'That little backup PG is not better than Rafer Alston.'

The key to this game was execution on both ends of the floor. No offensive droughts coupled with good, consistent D and the Rockets blow out one the league's elite teams.

    proud of our guys tonight.

im wondering why battier and artest dont do this nightly ... but the other part is maybe our team is most effective against teams like this ... teams that have one superstar that has the responsibility of being the playmaker the whole game ... who creates shots for others and is the go-to scorer. if we can contain that superstar then it looks good for us ... perhaps thats why our defense was so stellar tonight.

Charles is a idiot. He didn't realize that Rafer is the real backup PG not meant to be starting.

Please, they think Rafer is a starter? He only started here so we could trade him and he's only starting in Orlando because Jameer is hurt. Rafer will kill that team, he will make the entire team inconsistent with his shooting and bad PG skills. Just watch and see.

He's a good passer and plays hard, but that's it.

Yeah, unbelievable. They give absolutely no credit to the Rockets defense. They are blaming it on Cleveland's style of play. Barkley just said they can't be successful running the offense through Lebron. Last time I checked, they're first in the East.

Then Kenny says the Rockets can beat the Clippers and Grizzlies of the world without T-Mac but not the good teams. Didn't we just beat the Cavs by 19? In reality the Rockets tend to only lose to the bad teams.

Those guys don't do any homework, I swear.

We know a few things about Charles: he is biased against Yao (the kiss-ass accident); he is an admirer of Mcgrady (has been saying this is Mcgrady's team for years).
Well, he is my least favorite former Rocket. Too bad he was too late for the 94' 95' champ teams.

Honestly Lowry will replace Brooks as our starting PG. Once he learns this team he's got way more upside. Lowry is a legit 6'0 more than Brooks. Strong and fast.. He can take it into the paint with contact way more than Brooks. Infact Lowry in just a few weeks will be comparable to CP3. Brooks is just small with a better shot but not for long.

Yeah, they are just giving us no credit at all. I wonder what did our team do to the media to deserve this. We never get credit for some odd reason.

It's funny because Detroit shipped out their veteran PG to start Stuckey and Stuckey gets all the credit in the world. Brooks is just being disrespected left and right and you know what...good because this is going to make him hungrier and I bet he's going to work his @$$ off in the offseason to take his game to the next level and make all these dudes look like fools.

I swear, i've never seen such a love fest for Alston by the media. He was never appreciated when he played for us, but once he left he's elite PG in the NBA.

I agree, I think Lowry has a lot of upside but he's going to have to develop some type of outside shot.

Lowry is a really good playmaker...BETTER THAN ALSTON because he doesn't hold the ball too long and do useless dribbles, plays good defense, and a really good penetrator who can finish and kick out.

One of these guys will be our future PG and either way, the Rockets did the right thing moving Alston out. Alston did not do a good job of running the team. they act as if he was the sole reason this team was together, it really irks me because none of them were saying this crap when he was on our team.

It's like "Oh, he's outta Houston!?!? Oh yeah he gonna explode now!"

For real. We're playing as a team, better ball movement and more importantly defense. They tired of Tmac's distraction. We are better in the post-Mcgrady era.

i was at last years lakers number 22 game....this game was just as hype but the crowd noise was not even close to last year's win....with that said, GREAT WIN! Beautiful offense and amazing defense.
