Still, when you blow leads like the Rockets it really pisses off the fans, they stop making noise, stop cheering, and the Rockets stops trying.
About like when the rox lose, there will be 6 threads talking about traccy. The thing is that I'm not as critical of Yao as I used to because I've lowered my expectation of him. Watching the 3 previous hall of famers, I though the rox were going to have another 1. Somethin that only La can lay claim to. Over the years and just looking at the body of work, I've realized Yao is a good, not great player. I think he'll have 30 games like tonight, 30 games when he's just ok, and 20 when he sux. It is what it is. My biggest beef has been like tonight as a example. He scores well, so that means he will rebound and defend the paint. When he has problems scoring, he won't rebound nor defend. As the best center in basketball,that shouldn't happen. Overrall, good win by the team, good rebound by yao and everything good for now.

that's true. I like Yao. But as you said, he is a good player, but not hall of famer caliber. He has his major weakness on athleticism. T-Mac is definitely a much better player and he has the ability to lead the team. I just hope they can get some good games together, and bring us some wins in the playoff.

i can;t believe we won this one...we were down 2 pts in 4th when i went out,,,i thought our chances are rare....surprisingly,we turned around,,anyway...good work,,guys..we are inconsistent though
true true, but if you accept this to be a fact, then you just judge him as such. you have to use an absolute point of view, instead of judging him after each game. he's a very good center with good nights and bad nights... (as with the rest of the team especially tmac). you can't simply say he sucks without using a qualifier. i'll be the first to tell my friends he sucked in certain games, but to say he flat out sucks is short sighted and untrue. i donno, yao is not a prime shaq during an 82 game run. however, by the way some people come out during bad games, you'd think he's interchangeable with brad miller. they're just seeing the tree without noticing the forest... for whatever reason. i'm %99.9 sure yao is one of the main factors in our overall winning record.

When I say suck,its not even point related. When yao sux, its because he didn't have any presence on either side of the court like against Memphis.I don't care about the 13 pts, but the 4 rebs and no paint presence is sucky. Had it been 13 pts 13 rebs 2 or 3 blks along with 4 asst, that's a really good game. He pretty much dint even play against memphis and with Yao, he'll give the rox about 20 games a yr like that. That's to be expected.
