I don't think so,this game just pre-season game.I think Scola is better than Jefferies!

Waking up to this was completely refreshing! Couldn't think of a better way to start off my day!!

Only caught the end of the game (About mid-3rd Q), but seems as though, Chase and Jeffries took most the minutes at the 3 and 4. P.P. logged some good minutes and I noticed at least one assist he dished to Chase for 3. Yao played for 19 minutes and went 4/6 from the field. He looked BETTER, his timing is improving. At one point, Yao was triple-teamed and still finished. You would of thought no one was guarding him. ;)

Ish played a tad bit at the point, but Aaron took over with 5 minutes to go. And yes, Devin Harris WAS getting the best of him! (Picked his pocket at half court to convert at the other end on one instance late in the game.)

    But, Aaron's team won!

loved the teamwork they got going. Signs of Yao getting back is better and better. Hes kinda slow on the defensive end though...

They are holding back so he doesn't get injured before the big trade. ;)

Seriously Jeffries is the better defender. He played Lopez better than Yao. He is another intangible guy. And he might be our best backup to Yao Ming when it is all said and done. I liked the way he played last year and he looks even better now and I am not even talking about his offense. I do not expect many more offensive games like today. In the past he has struggled to make layups. If he has overcome that I would be very surprised. But I just think he is another intangible guy who can shoot from beyond the arc in a pinch. ANd he brings an energy that I don't think we will get from Hill or Miller.

That's gonna be fun to watch. Oh, by the way, DD. I love your vids for their content, but watching Maria do her Knicks vids from her bed is much more exciting to the eye & imagination! Just saying.

The spacing is su much better with Martin instead of tmac. The defense is practically right on the three point line like the shooters.

the play where Battier passed to yao, who passed to Martin for the dunk was executed perfectly....nice to see.

He seems to be consciously working on it. Some of his free throws are almost smooth and others he seems to lapse back into a hitch (but not as bad as the infamous YouTube ones, he used to always put up). I'm rooting for him, I hope the pressure in real games doesn't overcome him.

any thoughts on shanes play? i know its preseason but his defense on Terrence williams was horrid, he looked like kobe out there. I loved Lee's energy on defense he was quick off his feet and great contests. I also love Lee's ability to finish with both hands. Chase is also playing amazing, i hope it continues into the city but regardless the potential is undeniable (if there were any questions before)

is it just me or are we getting lots more uncontested layups this year?

maybe it's just preseason and defenses aren't trying, but this read/react offense seems to create all kinds of high percentage shots

The teamwork is impressive for being this early in the season. They were really snapping the ball around, cutting to the basket, hitting the open man. Looked better than late in the season last year. Martin is going to have a monster year. He and Brooks may not be defensive stoppers, but they are going to run circles around the league and score in bunches. Yao continues to progress, and, yes, Jefferies even looked lively out there.
