Adelman should be Coach of the Year! - New team/new players/injuries/record win streak in a very tough conference
ha ha ha..did you hear the part at the post game show where Bullard SAID THAT aDELMAN TOLD nOVAK "if you pump fake a shot or pass up a open shot, i'll take you out" ... I think that's where coach take the best ability in each player and try to maximize them comes in, Novak can't really do anything else (defense, rebound..etc..) except shoot his pure jumpers and score and that he shouldn't be afraid to do, coach give you the green light to shoot, so shoot
by the way.. Steve Novak is on the FRONT PAGE of ESPN !!!...yup..we're so good that even the 9th bench player is good to be on the front page...
Yeah. I can't remember where I read it but I saw some story about how, after they won their 16th or something (they've won so many it's getting hard to keep track), they didn't even celebrate the win. They just stomped back to the locker room, just as angry as they were before the game started. It's like they're so mad about how the season has gone that they're just focused on wrecking as many teams as possible and they don't even realize how good they've been for so long.
Apparently you didn't watch Mutombo block the heck out of them. Dude give the Rockets some credit for playing great D!
Another win. Boring~~~ Seriously, it seemed that yesterday the Rockets didn't share/pass the ball as much after they established a comfortable lead in the 3rd quarter. I hope they could stick to the offense game plan that in part brought them to this winning streak, which, of course, is to move the ball well and take open shots.
You could tell after the first time out and half time that Lawrance Frank got on them to take it to the hole, and both times Deke put a stop to that nonesense. Its pretty funny that we're critcizing wins now! Booooriiing, another 20 point blow out. Well, if that's boring than bore me up...bore me up good.
Great game, great team defense once again. It is so nice to have guys like Deke, Battier, Hayes, and Scola on this team. They won't let the basics be overlooked. They are not flashy players or pre-madonnas out to make a name for themselves. They quietly go about getting the job done and remaining focused on the task at hand. They don't complain about touches or points. Wins like this gives the bench players quality playing time to get out there and gain some experience. We just may need them to produce down the line. They wont all be this easy and we will lose a couple (probably next week) but as long as they compete like this, I am fine with that.
