The Rockets are incredible! I cannot believe they have won 19 games in a row. It was a total team effort!
Know what was a great thing about tonight's game? I can see Novak's confidence is building up a lot. He's not afraid of taking those 18-25 foot shots like he used to be. If only he could teach Scola that...I've noticed Luis hesitating on that 14-18 footer he knows he can make.
Richard Justice is such a tool . I really cant stand the guy . This little blog entry really ticked me off . The line about his 52 inch plasma made me laugh really , I have a 60 inch Pioneer plasma ............ so there DICK ! Link
People just hate seeing success from guys like Tmac, Carmelo, vince carter, or gilbert....Even though I hate the nuggets. Analyst hate putting these guys on top because their perception of them is cocky players who don't get the job done the way they should and they all don't play on marquee teams like the knicks, boston, or the lakers. If kobe was on any other team...he would not get the publicity he does now. The day i find a nuetral analyst that says it like it is ....will be the day i believe in analyzing sports. NCAA tourny analyst should be fired because its so unpredictable. NBA analyst should be fired because well...they are bad at their jobs.
hahaha. the houston chronicle sports team is pretty weak in general. i only read solomon & campbell. it can't get any worse than jesus de ortiz... blaaaaaaaaah. and that astros blogger dude is usually a good read.
This is what defines a 19 win streak team: Shane Battier stepping in to draw a painful charge, with the Rockets up by 23 points. These guys just don't let up, ever. THIS is why they're going to experience postseason success. It's like the memories of Philadelphia haunt them every day, every hour, every minute, every possession. Haunting them until they win the ultimate prize.
i went to dallas for the rox mav game, and drove to houston for the rox NO game. both we won, and today again... so proud...
technically we had that kind of effort under JVG (though we have 2 more hustlers on this team in scola and landry, as compared to only 2 last yr in hayes and battier). we just have a more confident group of guys on OFFENSE now. rafer is waving tmac off and setting up more plays than ever; scola is getting more confident and not hesitating; battier is actually running some plays himself..., which is a complete departure from how the offense was last yr (tmac that, tmac this). also, it's great to see tmac shoot 1-7 in the first half and still have a ton of confidence in the world going out in the 2nd half and simply executing. as a result, he shot 5-7 in the 3rd quarter. he's been that consistent force we all expect him to be. he isn't as bipolar with his shooting as he was earlier in the season.
