Another good win, but yet a sloppy one. It seems to me that the Rockets play well on the road other than at home.

It's funny how dissatisfied we are when our point differential on the year is now +11 -- we've beaten every team we've played by double digits. There's definitely lots "ugliness" in our 1st and 3rd win, but I'm not too worried. YET.

I'm really looking forward to Tuesday. FREE BEN AND JERRY'S! I mean we get a chance to avenge the breaking of our streak. :D

Uhhh the crowd... even the yahoo nba article dogged the fans that cheered louder for the texas scoreboard than the game in front of them.

Anyone else notice that when Rafer drops the ball down low and left when he shoots that he usually misses his shot wide right? Looks like he corrected it in the second half tonight by dropping it straight down, and knocked down a couple of straight threes.

Also, has anyone seen Ron dunk the ball yet this season? Sometimes I wish he would just dunk it on his drives to the basket.

boston shot at a similar percentage like us today but get beaten badly by Pacers. We have good defense!

I am always wondering all the time why rockets drew so little attention.
I am a hard-core fan of Houston rockets from shanghai ,P.R.C ,you know ,the hometown of Yao.
As we all know rockets did a little bit good job with their opening 3 games winning streak even if lots of guys here regarded these as to be ugly a little bit.
Anyway ,it sounds like it was a not too bad promising start for rockets especially with the addition of Ron Artest as a result of the managing level’s fantastic efforts in the just past summer.
I watched 3 games live all the way through including two home games.
To my great depression and frustration, I found there were so seats left in the Toyota center during the course of every home games.
It will be much more discouraging when I compared the turnout in Toyota center with that in mavericks home court.
What’s more, their fans seemed more passionate, enthusiastic, making more noise and extending more support and confidence to their guys.
I remembered exactly I found it impossible for me to be inspired with the scenario that Toyota center witnessed the full attendance even though we were experiencing the franchise’s unprecedented 22 winning streak last season, which really drove me at the verge of despair a lot.
Bye the way I’d like to tell you we were so crazy and enthusiastic with our great hunting efforts for the tickets at any costs when rockers played kings in 2005 in shanghai for the preseason games in China.
As a Chinese fan of rockets I am fed up with what happened to us once and again when we watched the games live on our national and local sports T.V. stations and embarrassed to see so many seats were available and red apparently on the screen and fans looked so downhearted even if players went all out on the court.
Well, dudes, would so kind to give the reason why rockets drew so little attention and fans here looked so timid and indifferent no matter what their home team guys were doing on the court.
Thanks a lot and wish rockets a big season.
And then I am definitely sure they will overwhelmingly roll over the lakes in the west conference finals and push their way through big 3 of green monster to another thrilling and terrific ring to all of us.

Yao said in after-match interview that Rox were a little bit underestimated its foe which made the match more tortuous than it should be. Also, big fellew's wife also came to match, which made him somewhat nervous, thus failing some of easy baskets :D

u have to make more posts and/or quality posts and move up to member status to start a new thread. u gotta realise that houston is notorious for loving and hating their own teams. there are a lot of bandwagon fans in houston so they dont show up unless houston is playing a good team or in the playoffs. also, a lot of businessmen buy up seats and dont use them.
i would think though with the return of Kevin Durant and all the ex-longhorns in the houston area that it would be more packed.

our defense looked pretty bad at times. not even any hands up. just kinda watching the offense go to the basket. yao should be clogging the lane everytime. some nice blocks however. i wish adelman wouldve played dorsey a bit in this one, but i guess he wanted to get t-mac and rafer bak into the groove of the offense. this did however look more like a rockets team than last game. last game was just sick. it looked like when south korea beat a yao china in the east asian championships. everything just dropping.

but who cares. we won!! 3-0 baby! just gotta beat the good teams now. boston, la, cleveland, san an, etc. hopefully we can beat the 22 game win streak.

morey said repeatedly we play some of our best ball with the small lineup last yr (scola and landry) and yet i have not seen it.

adelman refuses to play that combo together. he did that only when yao got injured last yr and our offensive efficiency was great.

what the hell is his problem?

they were on the floor with brooks and landry more often and those 2 guys really change the pace of the game.

when you play with rafer, of course your +/- is way down.

brooks and landry are the main guys of this game

Thank you so much for your full explanation.
Well done, I got it totally.
I will do my best to improve my account to the membership status as soon as possible the way the same as you mentioned in your sharp-sighted reply.
Thank you so much for your great help and I hope rockets will go on with the momentum as long as they can and beat the 22 winning streak in the new season.
    Go rockets.LOL.............
