If we had TMac, we'd be tied right now. TMac is what has been holding us back all this time!

After what he's been pulling on this team, I will be even happier if we make it out of the first round without him.

great win, huge win, this is the win of the decade...
so to the hell of all those stats...rox lost past 4 game 4s, rox was 5-20 when trailing after the 3rd quarter...
yao played a big game with big minutes, esp the 4th quarter...rox did terrific defensive job throughout the 4th quarter...
this is the night for the houston rox...and all the rox fans...

RONRON had 5/20 shooting while his defense assignment got 31 pts. Is he still the "best" D player?

Portland was 17-17 from the free throw line.
Roy had 13 of those and only 2 other players (Aldridge and Blake) went to the line for the Blazers.

    We were 14-22. :(

Whew! That was too close for comfort. I'm thrilled with the win though. Team getting good experience at dealing with playoff pressure down the stretch. Guys have to be willing to take the open good shot down the stretch when the have it. I'm ready to see the Rocks close this one out.

Battier is having a phenomenal playoff series. You can't say enough about the job he's doing on both ends of the court.

Kudos to Adelman for going with Lowry and Landry when it was clear Brooks was tentative and Scola was gassed.

The most beautiful ugly win I've seen in quite awhile. Wow.

Hahaha! I originally thought Brzybilla was from some eastern European country. But no. Dude was born in Minnesota.

Yao had the best stats 21pts 12 rb but Battier was the player of the game. Artest gets the goat of the game award, doing his Hulk Hogan act on a night like he had was pretty arrogant.

Lowry missed the last FT on purpose.

Lowry & Landry - huge offensive boards.
    Chuck - big charge play.

Thank god KL' effort awake Rockets on the forth!

Thank god Battier hit those two 3 points!

Thank god Hayes and Battier not forget the defense which JVG taught this team two years ago.

If we made our FTs this game would not have been close.

This is plyaoffs time -- it's when you have to make your freebies because nothing else comes easy.

Rockets vs. Blazers is inconsistent vs. incosisten.

The Lakers are another story. Rick Adelman would have to put together a gameplan of a lifetime to win it. Yao would have to have a great series. And Artest/Battier would have to wear Kobe down over several games. Our whole team would have to play super. It's doable. That's why they play the games. Seems I recall LA was favored vs. Boston last year. Maybe Brian Cook has the blueprints to blow Staples Center up, Death Star style.

ronron's trying too hard to be the hero. just play your role ronny. 5/20. Numbers like that will cost us games in the future.
