The Lakers also made the same type of "mistakes" against Portland. Maybe people should just give the Blazers credit.
it's very unlikely that they finish that high in the draft last year with durant the previous year, so they probably wouldnt have bayless...prob wouldnt have traded for Batum either since Durant, outlaw, and Webster would clog up the 2/3 spot.
Batum is a defence guy in their start lineup and a good sixth man come from bench is important for each team.
Check out the blog by the Blazers play by play guy for the ultimate in Portland whining. Some of the comments are priceless. -"Start a petition to the NBA to get officials who will call a fair game." https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=26868605&postID=2261096730699433461&page=1
I hope I'm wrong but I don't see us winning the series in Portland. Not after the amount of b****ing about the officials Portland and Portland fans have been doing. Game 6 is where it's at.
15 fouls on us in the 4th quarter. Any time we touch pretty-boy Roy or if he flails around we get called. and what the hell is up with our complete inability to get the ball to Yao when we need to? Yeah he took a bad shot at the end, but he's a 50+% shooter so I would rather take my chances with him (or Scola, who is also 50+% from the field). Don't give me that bull**** that "Yao is what he is" and that "Yao's got this or that or that or that limitations" to justify yourself. It is just sad that it took me TWO hands to count the number of times that Yao sealed off his man or just had good position for more than a "flash" and we ignored him for an often ill-advised shot. Pathetic. We pay him big bucks, and if our guards are choking it up out there, we have to change things.
Soooo nice of the rockets to let us fans at tc celebrate their 2nd round advancement!! Thanks for losing at portland!! seriously....
