i hope when the team watches the tape the realize- the team CAME back when they started going into yao. its that easy - you just have to be patient and wait for the open flash.
I just got back from the game and I am so proud of the team. What a fourth quarter. Thank you Lowry, Scola, Wafer, Battier, Artest, Brooks, Chuck, Landry, and Yao. What an effort ... being down 6 twice in that quarter and just making play after play.
Ron did take some ill-advised shots, however some shots were taken at the end of 24 sec. At those time, there is no open Yao and other team mates, you get to give trail blazers credit to play good defense. I think rockets use shane and ron as the passer to yao and the ball rotate to them near the end of 24 sec, and they are pressed to pass or shot.
Yes Yao has been a key player in this series. He's become more patient with the way the game is being played. He has battle scars everywhere. His arm is all scratched up and the side of his face has a big scratch. What I like about Yao the most is the way he doesn't retaliate when he is pushed by the two pryzibilla and oden. couple of games ago they just shoved him and pushed him for no reason. So unprofessional. Another thing is if he's not getting the ball then he's distracting the opposite players from playing their best Defense because they have half an eye on Yao. Big thing I want to see is Yao go hard.
Lowery drew fouls when he drives so his fg% does not tell the whole story. Ron seems to have lost his confidence - he hesitated and passed up open shots but took really difficult shots. He's been in a shooting slump. AB was just taken out of the game when defense paid more attention to him and he does not draw fouls when he drives because he's too short and they just block everything he thorws up. Anyway ROn will need a big game to boost his confidence again but AB will just play less and less minutes - he's just too small for play off basketball.
Yeah, rox chucked again in this game, but at least he dished 9 assists which is great ! However, our guards got less assists than Yao which seemed not a good thing. Hope our guards can do better next game. Lowry's off rebounds in the last mins were $$$. Battier was the MVP tonight.
look at this: game ........1st.... 2nd ...3rd.. 4th player A: 10-17; 9-12; 3-11; 1-5 player B: 7-12..; 8-20; 3-8; 5-20 player C: 9-9 ...; 3-6 ; 2-7; 7-14 total atmp...38....38.....26......39 team pt ...108...103....86......89 1, I am sure if rocket had one more $10m+ wing now, there would be a good chance for 2nd round. if 2 $10m+ wings, or our $20m guy realy back, there would be a good chance. 2, would Yao shot poorer than other 2 under double-teamed or single fronted condition? if still better, share touchs more flexiblely.
we definitly deserved the win. blazers jump shotted all night, they are just lucky they made a lot of it. we penetrated and drew fouls
