Why is everyone saying our defense was bad? I thought we played good enough defense to win with the exception of a couple gambles and missed defensive assignments..

Are you blind? Did you not see Pierce eating his ass up. How many times did he blow by him and caused our bigs in foul trouble?

Definitely He had a good game against a pretty "great" team.. I don't expect Hill to play perfect.. those missed assignment were a killer.. KG was open 3 straight times using the same play.

the Celts had awesome D. the best scorer for the Rockets tonight only had 17 points.

our FG% and 3P% were not as good as theirs.

but < 40% from the field, and < 30% from the 3-point-line shows how their D cracked our offense, and how we must improve to become a contender.

We know that our defense is suffering because we don't have Yao back there. Look at the Celtics, they had Garnett, Perkins, and Wallace protecting that paint. However, the Celtics perimeter D was amazing on Brooks, but I give a lot of props to Rondo on that.

I'm a little bit concern in the lack of playing time against C-Bud don't now why
and he isn't getting plays and shoot; I'm thinking he is in defensive assignment but come on

They showed up and played tight D this game that's for sure. They also got away with a lot. They are like Utah, the refs know they play rough so they swollow their whistles.

*chuckle* what foul trouble? Most of Pierce's shots came from the outside and were contested. Your comment is telling me having CBUD out there would have been a lot better because his shooting would have trumped Pierce/Allen's shooting.. You really believe that? Really?

I'm a bit confused about Martin's play. He's a specialist at drawing fouls and getting to the line. He showed us this in his first games for us, when he'd drive into the paint, take a shot and get fouled... over and over again.

The Celtics were on the verge of serious foul trouble for most of the game. It would have been nice to see Martin taking advantage of that.

Adelman has coached Budinger into being a general garbage player instead of our talented spot up three point shooter with upbeat potential!! :p

No choice man, we have no room for him since we added Kevin Martin. Only reason he's getting minutes to begin with is because Adelman's using a 10-man rotation. He'd either have to sit Battier, an elite defender, or Ariza, master thief, or move one of them to PF. Very very tough choice, one that's non-existent against a huge team like the Celtics.

he got 2 lay-ups if not fouled. C-bud is the future and plays better defense as of now than Battier.
