How is trading Martin tanking? I love the guy but a healthy Lee can give us the same production he's giving us now.

Without Martin where is the scoring going to come from?

Yes but that's because KM is still in a funk. If he were playing like last year (0.600% TS) nobody on the team can equal his production. And this is the season he's so aggressive on D too...

Classic example of irrational statement made from emotional attachment to a player. Courtney Lee will NEVER be a 20+ scorer with the efficiency of Martin. You can't be serious

*wakes up, looks at boxscore, sees that Rockets held an opponent to 70 points*
    ...
    *passes out*

For what it's worth, my wife and I enjoyed the low scoring JVG tribute night, even if it was a little disorganized.

the Rockets don't need a 20+ ppg player who plays little to none defense, which is not really due to lack of trying. The dude is frail, is not gritty, and doesn't fit with the Rockets identity.

    **** the efficiency

I dont know about you guys but Id rather have an amazing defensive team than an amazing scoring team.

Watching the opponent struggle to make a shot is sooo much more fun than trading shots with the opponent.

seconded. We need defenders, and two-way players. There are no more than 1-2 spots for players that are phobic of defense

Hill is so much better coming off the bench, first of all he is not a center lol. that was a failed experiment. keep that man on the bench

i totally agree, defense wins championships. playing good D frustrates the other team, and usually they end up playing bad D themselves, give
us an opportunity to score :)

I respect JVG as much as the next one but those days of putting a premium on defense over offense were ugly to watch, I'd rather stay looking for balance.

Please also keep in mind JVG was given Scott Padget, Bowen, Hayes, David Wesley, Head as his starters. He wasnt that bad of an offense guy as people think.

Why couldn't we just lose if we were playing bad, from what I can read and the score obviously..

Lowry almost with most rebounds of the whole team, this guy is doing it all!

Can't wait to see if Chris Finch can be the next coach for the Rockets.
From what i see, McHale is not the long term idea coach
