Brooks's shot is off but give credit to the fact that he keeps at it. Even if he's missing layups, he still puts pressure on the opposing team's defense with his drives. Plus, he's passing much better within the offense, which, along with Miller's return from injury, is a big reason that Lee and Bud are getting good looks.

If and when Brooks gets his shooting touch and quickness completely back, he'll be a much better PG because of his play right now.

I'm pulling for the guy. I would love to see him play like he did last year.

Keeps on making the same mistakes when there's bodies in the paint. Frustrating he doesn't pull up for a mid range jumpshot when he can hit there.

This is the type of asinine response I hate to see as a fan. Bud gives us 30 points in 30 minutes, plays his heart out and this is what he gets. He deserved the game ball tonight.

If we trade Bud for a better player or to fill a positional need, so be it. However, I'm proud that Bud is a Rocket and always will be. This Bud is for us!

It always bothered me when Budinger always settled for the jumper. It's nice to see him be more aggressive and attack the basket, its too bad he didnt do that more often this season cause it looks like he may be traded.

I think some of that has to do with his lack of confidence in his shot right now.

But to his credit, he seems to be getting better at recognizing when to pass out of those situations and when to drive to the basket. It's still a work in progress, but I'm seeing some improvements.

Budinger played out of his mind in hopes of getting out of Houston.

we didn't want an injury to ruin the deal lined up.

Hard to get excited about back to back wins when they barely won and were actually down by double digits in both games to the two worst teams in the league.

but oh well I'll take it.

He wasn't playing well. Coach decided not too to give him any minutes. That's all.

Some people should stop denigrating this win. The Lakers lost to the Cavs...

Right now offer Budinger to LA for Kobe before Buds stock goes back down. :p Cant believe some of you want to get rid of the next Larry Bird though.

Not to mention it was at Cleveland and they were shooting out of their minds (almost 60% from three). Oh, and they were coming off a full week of rest while the Rockets were coming off a back-to-back. Some "fans" are really despicable.

They have won 10 games ALL SEASON LONG, are without their two best players, scored 119 points and kept the game close while being out rebounded by 20.

Sorry but wins like this don't really get me excited, truth be told they feel more like losses then wins.

Oh and beating the Lakers was nice for them but it was obvious LA overlooked them badly, the Rockets should NEVER overlook an opponent.

why do people always complain about how we should have won a game against a easy team but then they say that "they barely" won it. I thought the team looked good tonight, and what is most important Bud stepped up, last night PatPat stepped up. We haven't had the best season but its only one season and already people are freaking out. Many teams sucked for many seasons and they still have people go to games and watch games and cheer their teams on, i mean i don't get why you even call yourself fans.
