Some funny stuff about Steve Javie here: http://sportsonmymind.com/tag/steve-javie/ "I attended a Minnesota Timberwolves game in 1997 and heard Steve Javie actually say something like that to a then young Kevin Garnett. What Javie told Garnett was, “You’ll get calls when your team is worth a ****. Until then, shut the @#$% up and play.”
i don't see why brooks have to take the SG if he's a good PG is just different styles of play's that why you got can change the line up and the player separably a aaron brooks curtney lee combo is good like a lowry martin combo is good too as i said aaron brooks have to change he's style of play if he want the staring role or remain in this team he got to learn how to play some D and pass the ball that why adelman is there to teach wrong thread i will leave so people can read them anyway
Maybe we could play T Will with AB and T Will could play the point on offense but AB defend the point.
Apparently if awarded the ex. the Rox can go over the mid-level ex.(5.765 mil)in a trade. If cost cutting a team like Portland or Kings Camby-about 8.5 mil,or Dalembert-about 12.2 mil Jeffries would get it done for us .(Only examples of what we could do with these players)
I liked RA's rotations tonight, except for when we had AB, Kmart, Bud, Hayes and Miller on the floor all at the same time. That one was perplexing. Thankfully he changed that one quick. Aside from that, it felt like we had an answer to every lineup GS threw out at us. I love watching Lee, Battier, and Chuck shut down fools, and I even saw Martin do some damage on defense tonight. Also, I would absolutely hate Lowry if he wasn't on my team. If TWill is as good a two-way player as I'm hearing, then watch out. Gunning for #1, baby.
yes he can "set plays" aaron used the iso (i don't see nothing bad in the height of aaron brooks or any one of the guard of the rockets) i'm talking about the combination in the guards and the trade wings that this board talk too much about forget they think too and are humans
Thanks. I'm enjoying these games! We have such an interesting mix of players. It seems like every other game we're seeing a new combination on the floor, which will continue with the return of Brooks.
the less we play him the more s**t his going to be, you can't just leave him on the bench then BAM his all good now. It takes time and what adelman is doing is that his giving AB time so he can develop to a player he was before. im sure i was like oh damn why take that shot AB but he came back from injury his not superman .. ?
One great note to take from the past few games is how we reacted to the other team going on a run in the 4th.. We're actually closing out games after either being behind from the start or fighting against the momentum which we'd usually keel over and take the L I'm starting to look at the team and get giddy again
I was at the game... Budinger's and Scola's inability to play any defense was making me furious. Brooks was also horrible. It felt like we turned the ball over every time he was running the offense. Now, negatives aside... Jordan Hill looked really good. He had a bunch of nice post moves that led to baskets. Lowry was hustling as usual, and Kevin Martin was making baskets when they really mattered. And as long as Battier can hit a few 3's every night, I am content with his offensive skills. Monta Ellis is pretty much uncontainable when it comes to the pull up jumper at the top of the key. I'm pretty sure most of his 40+ points came from that move alone. Udoh had that crazy dunk and then an insane block on the other end in transition, even had me out of my seat. From the few minutes he played, he really has a lot of potential.
Because Scola is a 21/9 guy on 7.75m it's kind of acceptable, a 21/9 guy that can play defense doesn't get paid 7.75m, lol
