When Brooks was in the game, any semblance of a defense evaporated. That stretch at the start of the 4th was exactly like the first 5 games of the season, where the Rockets could not stop anybody. When Lowry came in, Rockets started taking the lead again.
I like the stat of being undefeated when the rockets make 10 or more threes. Awesome Defense by Lee and loved the inside/ outside game with luifa. Scola has the best footwork i've seen since the days of Hakeem.
No defense = no play time (unless you are Kevin Martin and are able to score more than you give up) GTFO Brooks and Bud. Adelman finally realized that playing Bud is negative chain at best.
I see a problem with Lowry and Brooks playing time. Lowry deserves to start, and Brooks is good too. Where will Rick find the minutes for both of them with Martin, and Lee at shooting guard? Morey built this team for injuries.
Rockets beat the Warriors + referees tonight. It was 5 on 8 and Rockets still won! Shame on you, referees + Warriors! Hahaha. How do you like that!?!
I guess the post game threads are gonna be pretty barren for a while since we're going to be playing more bad teams for a while Anyways, I hope Blake Griffin doesn't go off on us.
Monta Ellis went off on us tonight, but we played better team basketball. As long as we play well as a team we stand a very good chance of winning even if Griffin gets a monster stat line.
