On another note Jermaine Taylor looked pretty good in the little time he saw, 7 points on 3-4 shooting and played decent defense.
All the people that are posting that this is a "meaningless win"... Shut the he'll up! A win is a win at the end of the season, nobody cares if your record is 52-30 and you beat the puppies 4 times and lost to the lakers 4 times... God damn. Clutch fans is divided into 4 groups 1. The group that knows what the hell is going on 2. The group that constantly says we made the wrong trade. "why don't we have Rudy gay?" and why did we trade "ariza for lee" come to mind 3. The group that thinks we can get a player like Iggy for expirings and half a new York pick 4. The group that never thinks anything is good, and that if we don't have an 82-0 record and we only get "meaningless wins" and don't win the championship, our whole existence as a team and a fan board is useless. /end rant
YAY get off our back Monkey! Off to watch the part of the game I missed. Then I can read all the feel good comments here!
^^^ Twolves have been losing by a margin of 20 or more points in 4 of their 6 losses. Let's put things in perspective.
The Rocket's season has officially begun. We are playing with heart and determination, and now that we have captured the elusive "W" we are gonna start kicking @$$ and taking names. The rest of the teams won't know what hit 'em. LLLLLLEET'S GET READYYY TOOO RRRRRUMMBBBBBLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
this was a big win. the t-wolves have started the season out really bad, as have we (as far as record goes). i'm just really glad we pulled this one out. i would've liked to see yao rest this game, and him possibly playing against the spurs last night.
Its pretty funny watching the local MPLS sports section of the news right now and it is all Vikings with no mention of the T-Wolves. Edit. They have mentioned the Wolves but spent more time and highlights talking about the Bears playing the Bills in Toronto.
