Jordan Hill needs to watch tapes of Carl Landry. Landry was good because he just tried to dunk everything, got fouled a lot in the process, and made free throws. Jordan Hill is too timid when he gets the ball. There was one fast break where he had a wide open dunk but passed instead, and another time where he was wide open at the free throw line and shot a fade away for no reason. I think the aggressive attitude on offense will come in time, because it's certainly there on defense.
I don't care what anyone has been saying, the Ariza trade was a good move. I don't know if Lee is my favorite Rocket though...
This game would have been a great game for Patterson and Taylor to get a good amount of minutes and experience. I mean, the game was blown out at the end of the 3rd quarter, so they could have played the whole 4th possibly.
i wouldnt be completely against it.....should be different this time around with Kmart next to him. Plus, if anything, he'll be the best mentor we have for ish at the PG spot.
I really doubt the Rockets would add a 4th PG to the team. They've got 2 they really like in Brooks and Lowry. Smith is fast becoming a favorite. And even Courtney Lee can handle some PG duties. Rafer does some good things, but if there's a minutes crunch his pouting over playing time could become a headache.
