Voice is gone & almost too tired to type!! Great gut check win, but should have hit 1 more ft in reg.
No different than what Jax did to us last night...you go with the guy who's got 40 pts, they really werent bad shots. He was able to get open or create space all night.
Dude seriously has afterburners sometimes. Also, he might be super excited that his birthday is tomorrow. AND he DID just score 43 points in a triple OT game.
Hopefully, the Rockets learned their lesson ...on closing out games before the final minutes of the 4th quarter. No better way than a triple overtime thriller to teach them to close out the game way before that. Also a great way to celebrate Aaron Brooks' 25th birthday!
Great resolve by the rockets tonight. The cliche "they never quit" is once again something the rox earned. Anyone catch the man-love between Ariza and AB? Best thing to come out of this 3-OT game imo. Ariza played very well today, showed good chemistry with the team. Now if Messiah keeps it up, we'll be getting somewhere.
yeah, this game was definitely a momentum and team building game. Hopefully Ariza can recommit himself after this game.
A win is nice but what a disgrace 3 ot againts the likes of the baby wolves ...... Arghh imagine if they have rubio Morey git it done already before our starters break down from playing huge crazy minutes due to adleman stuborness to play landry and becnch brigades more.
Hopefully this a wake up call for the Rockets. If they have pulled it through tonight against out of this world odds, then how much more against regular ones.
So flipping true, damn in a way it was great but in another way, this is one of the worst teams in the NBA this season so it is a lesson on closing the ****ing game. Seriously we should have wrapped this up by half time but I can't deny it was a very good victory for the team to walk out on and congrats to Brooks for kicking ass and being the first Rockets player this season to score 40+.
I have been critical of some of Adelman's matchups in the past. I have even called him dumb or stupid. I know that is not true and he is a great coach. However, I really question why an ice cold Ariza and lay up goofing Battier are on the floor at the same time all the way down the stretch and through each OT. I know Battier came up with a big block and followed by a big three, but none of that should have been necessary.
