I think they need to trust each other and move without the ball.....the first half was great they were cutting, picking, rolling.

In the 4th quarter once Rafer went back in, that all stopped.

    Coincidence? I think not.

I was actually dissappointed Luther did not get back in there, the team could have used his stroke when they were clogging the lane.

DD, people wont admit it, but offensively, this team is fools gold. They have no mid range shooters other than brooks. They have no transition players other than brooks either. I'm still trying to figure why Battier gets a pass also. People want to bring up Rudy, but i remember you and i arguing about Brewer vs JJ. Brewer wouldve been great for a jvg team.

Brewer is not that great......but I agree about the midrange guys......but with Yao the midrange guys would need to also be a threat from 3pt range, because Yao needs space to operate down on the block.

At the end of the day this team needs guys that can score the ball.....and stop playing guys who can't....like Hayes and Rafer....

I know we don't agree on Battier...but I firmly believe that just one small change in the starting lineup makes this team a lot better, and that is Aaron Brooks a good quick PG makes EVERYONE better.....

    Brooks is it....

I do think brooks should start, but i think when the team is healthy, ron should also. Battier isnt enough with his chances. I mean he couldnt score over korver, he never fills the lane on the break and has had trouble staying in front of anyone.

I think yao would benefit from guys attacking and moving towrds the goal as opposed to guys standing at the 3pt line.

Artest doesn't fill the lane, and also has trouble staying in front of quicker players.

I am ok with Battier or Artest starting, I think Artest's issue is that when he and Tmac are on the floor together there is only one ball.

Nice to see Artest step up after Yao couldn't...

...Man, I hope McGrady sits out all of our games until we play Boston on January 7th.

Had great seats for the game and the first half we looked like we could do whatever we wanted. At half time though we apparently forgot how to play and the refs decided to make it interesting. Yao couldnt buy a basket but in all fairness he was getting the communism beat out of him on both ends of the court, more so than usual even. Aaron was doing ok but can't play against brewer or Deron so them being in made Aaron be out. Yea rafer had a bad shooting night BUT several of those shots were at the end of a quarter or as the shot clock was expiring, they were not ALL rafer rainbows, and I can only think of one jumpshot where I was thinking to myself...really??? Bottom line though he made a HUGE clutch 3 to extend the game and like all have said Ron is already Houstons favorite rocket. My biggest complaint about tonight is adelmans decision with 40 seconds for Yao to not be in there on defense in a 3 point game. I can understand a 5 second game where they HAVE to shoot a 3 but with 40 seconds left and you take your only inside defender out...2 easy layups and it almost cost us the game??? Can anyone offer any insight into that??

Okay.......how the hell did Rockets manage to let this one go all the way to 2OT when freaking Okur, Bookzer, and Millsap are all injured?

how the heck did the rockets manage to win that many games in a row even after their 7'6 center (aka half of their offense) went down? i bet many teams had the question last year when we're in the midst of the 22-win streak.

though the jazz are not in any win streak, i guess it is the same answer here.

They took yao out because in a pick and roll, they didnt want to give up the 3 for the tie. Of course mr super defense rafer gave away a layup.

that would be logical if there were like 5 seconds left. but it was more than 40. everyone knows once yao is out, our interior is non-existent. sloan must know too. that was a terrible decision by adelman.

IBM- i didnt say it was a good move, I'm just saying it was a move. Maybe yao wanted to come out. He had no energy for rebounding and defense, i dont know. If he wouldve been in there, maybe he wouldve gave one of his soft and 1's. The bigger issue is his backup or lack there of one over 6'8.

maybe yao wanted to be out? the only one who would want out in a tight game is mcgrady. that's the only one i know on this team.

yao had no energy for rebounding and defense? in the 2ot periods, yao's defense was very good. so what you're saying?

his soft and 1's? now this makes me firmly believe you have a big bias against yao.
