I can understand some of Scola's minutes were because Yao was tired but he was on the court for too long. Landry should have gotten at least 10 more minutes instead of him.

Agree. As much as I hate the Jazz, I respect their efforts and the mentality of never giving up. When JVG was with the rockets, the rockets were better in that department. The rockets under Rick Adelman are weaker in mentality but Ron's toughness almost compensated.

Did i miss some games? When did he become a dominant closer. Hes basically playing against 2 rookies and they cancelled him out.

Artest was the man tonight but give yao some credit, he made some key blocks during crunch time to keep us alive in the two OTs.

To those questioning Adleman's subs to take Yao out at the end of regulation, I think it was because the Jazz went small in order to spread the floor. Yao obviously would then need to come out on the perimeter and defend which he could then be beaten easily to the basket. Needless to say, we were still beat to the basket but hey a win is a win and I'll take it.

Not likely! I'm 6' 4" and weigh over 220. I am a former federal officer with combat martial arts training. If I literally wanted Rafer in the stands, he would go in the stands. But, I was speaking figuratively, so Rafer is safe to go 3 for 13 in the Rocket's next game. :p

agree, a pathetic win over the 'Jazz minus three key players", I don't see how can Rockets win the playoff against Jazz, which has been proved the last 2 seasons, Rockets need a major upgrade: first, get the **** out of RA's head, or get a new coach; second, Rafer should not play major minutes in the team, he is not GOOD, period. third, get DeKe and a solid pg by trading of Head, Hayes. fourth, trade sheMac if there still are some suckers out there want she, e.g. I would trade sheMac for Joe Johnson, Rose, Mayo, Mike Redd, Baron Davis....

Morey pointed out that Yao is the Rockets most efficient scorer in 4th quarters.

SO why did he play the cleaveland and New Orleans games if he knew he couldnt go? How pathetic it would have been of Ron tonight to play and not give a decent effort? Is Battier not hurting as well?

The are professional athletes and you have to have character. Dont play hurt and hurt you team offensively and defensively and tell us after the game you are hurt. The game before cleaveland he played so well. He had a know show in cleaveland and he said he just did not have it because of the back to back game. This is fine.... all of a sudden his back and knees are hurting again after a No show in NO? Totally unprofessional

Don't even take his Yao-related comments seriously, his hate for Yao makes him blind.

Great win tonight against the Utah j*zz. Ron was the man-he deserves the game ball tonight. He attacked the basket and drew fouls unlike our two other stars who don't do so. Ron Artest should be our 1st or 2nd option at the end of games. Obviously having Yao and Tmac be our closers hasn't worked. I love Yao and Tmac but after seeing tonight's performance, I hope Ron keeps it up and becomes our leader. He will get us over the hump in the playoffs. This is our year, baby!!!!

Remember that one game where he took Yao out as a result the other keep attacking the rim and get easy basket?? Well...it didn't take him long to realize he needs Yao inside presence. Well, it was too late and we ended up losing that game. Why the hell Rick Adelman never learn and continue to do the same shyt in this Utah game. He took Yao out when we were up by 3 when Jazz can't do absolutely shyt with Yao in terms of pick and roll.

IMO, coach Rick Adelman has cost the Rockets a few losses this season so far due to his bad nonsense substitution strategy.

We know TMac is not healthy, but it's his attitude and passion on the court that's annoying to the fans.

He also said Landry need to do a mri right before free agency to lower his value. He also said theyre pretty good with the backup players behind yao. Morey lies alot if you havent noticed.

If TMac's passion returns, we in fact have 3 punches. It's up to the coach to mix them up to surprise the opponents.

i gotta put some of the blame on the coaches for this one. It took them wayyyy too long to go to the post-up with artest on brewer and it was obvious Yao was shot. Artest saved us in this game, while the rest of the team and the coaching staff did their best job to blow it  .
