I know we played 2 ot, but how the hell did we manage to score 120 while shooting pathetic 39%...

Ron was BIG. You will see, something great is gonna happen in the playoffs with him, Mac and Yao. I tell you.

Yao was really bad in those overtime, maybe tired.

This game shows how important McGrady is. Hopefully he will understand he is NEEDED

that's in 22 mins. scola got 8 in 45. i thought the ball moved better without tracy? we got 21 assists on 38 makes (we scored in this game due to getting a lot of calls and 38 fts)

utah got 35 assists on 49 makes.

If Brew has not missed the free throw in the first OT, we would've lost.

It is really sad looking at what this team could really achieve if TMAC was even willing to compete. With TMACs attitude (not really his injuries) we cannot go far. I know every one gets on Head's case. I do too, but this guy can shoot and between him, wafer and Barry we should be fine. WE really need to let TMAC have all the time to rehab and have time to reflect if he has been sincere to the rockets organization and to the fans whose hard working dollars goes toward his weekly paycheck. He then needs to decide what he wants to do.

Most people feel this guy is a real traitor now......

WE LOVE YOU RON!!! TRUE heart of a champion....

What a mud fight and I am happy Rockets come out with a W.

    1. This one belongs to Ron Artest. Like Bill said, he is all that rockets brought him here for and more. That being said, a significant perimeter player like TMac is still the key for the success of this team in the playoffs.
    2. The persistence on giving Yao the ball was pathetic, but I am loving it. IMHO it is exactly how leadership is cultivated. Great players such as Kobe, TMac, Wade, LBJ all have that kind of experience, carrying the team to win or loss. I really would not mind too much if this was a loss because of giving Yao the ball.
    3. I finally start to see a lot of set plays, which was the reason that rockets come out with a win. I would like the rockets to practice over and over again some working set plays so to use on the court in tough times. Those read-and-adjust thing won't work in tough times. After all basket ball is very physical game, you can not always over-smart opponents.

Ball always moves better without him because he does not move. He is so lazy it is sickening....If you are hurting have enough pride to tell the coach and your teammates so that some healthy bodies can play....

but he's not healthy, and that's a fact. it's like people saying yao's struggled down the stretch b/c of his stamina and there's nothing he can do about it.

tracy's game is about athleticism and explosiveness. no knee = very little of that is available to him to play his game. what do you want him to do if he can't do what he can do? all he can do is rebound and post up.

he's not like ron where ron's game doesn't depend on those things. his game depends on pure size and power.

Yeah I was thinking the exact same thing. Yao was money on defense all night, why take him out at the end and give the Jizzholes free passes to the rim?

    1. Yao normally is a dominant closer. He's proven it this year. Artest is a nice weapon to have, definitely.

    2. Rafer would beat your ass. Don't forget that.

    3. They didn't beat the Rockets easily when Yao and Rafer weren't playing. Stop being hysterical.

    4. Adelman is very slow to make adjustments. Agreed.

    5. The Rockets have been one of the better teams in the league this year. Hate to break it to you. They have blown some games, but they have met a challenging schedule and plenty of injuries and are still one of the top seeds in the west. If the Rockets make your life this miserable just go away.

We don't have a good playmaker with McGrady out. This is the difference.

The Jazz with Williams were a playmaking machine. Sad that Alston, besides making the clutch 3, could not make any good assists in crunch time. Team that are good have a good passing PG. Rafer just isn't a good passer. He can run the offense, but he is not a good passer.

he's been saying he can't play (remember he told publicly he's gonna sit out). isn't that a big hint that he can't play and not healthy enough?

and he said it again last night.

Did anyone notice Bill, Clyde and Matt praising Artest for playing on a really bum ankle but playing through it? They were sending a message to TMAC clearly

Yao was crap on offense. He blocked some nice shots, but was pretty hard to watch on offense. All of his passes out of double teams were terrible bounce passes that had no chance in leading to a three. Pretty ugly. RA should mix up the plays a bit more. Dumping it inside to Yao isn't going to cut it if he clearly doesn't have it. Once he started mixing it up with Artest, it was way more effective. It was good to see Ron Artest take it to the hoop everytime at the end. Glad we have him since t-mac doesn't want to drive any more...

Yao's out of gas obviously. After a lot of back2back games, and after wrestling for 30+ minutes, this is understandable. What I don't understand is why Adelman let the team keep feeding Yao in such a status, without doing anything else, for 17 minutes? Did he want to get Yao injured? This is terrible coaching.
