    Artest is a clutch player.
    Shots, timeouts, steals, rebounds.
    He always makes something happen.

Yao had like 5 blocks. How come he only got credited for 2?

It's nice to see us win a close game for a change

Phoenix has lost 3 in a row now and just found out amare won't be able to play until next year.....

I'm thinking their season is done soo that would put the rockets AT WORST... in 8th in the west right?

    Just sayin...

Open 3? The one at the end he had to shoot almost straight up in the air to avoid Yao?

Because he mainly stripped the ball, It's not really a block. I'm guessing that's what they think, the stat keepers.

Yao was credited with steals though.

Give AB a 60M/5 year contract and build the team around him. Trade Yao for Gasol/Bosh.

Man, with that loss, shouldn't we just all agree that Phoenix is Team #9? I mean, they're three games behind the 8th seed now.

Oh I would definitely have to throw out a yellow flag there if you're talking about Scola. IMO Scola should be one of the players we depend on in our closing minutes!

    But that's another thread ;)

    Go Rocks!

This wasn't a good win. Granted Artest and AB made hella coldblooded and clutch shots, but we can't expect them to make those shots all the time in close games.

We should still stick to good ball movement during critical situations like those, and get open or easy shots. I dont get why Adelman put Scola in if they weren't gonna go to him for offense. Scola was on FIRE this game, going 6-9 FG. A pick and roll with Scola would've resulted in a way easier basket to make then those heart pounding layups or jumpshots by Brooks/Artest.

Really? Did they undercount Yao's blocks again this game? Gee, what a surprise

Well, its the NBA, it's all biased and prejudiced stuff.

Blocks are only considered blocks if the shot is already off and Yao knocks it back to China. Getting a tip or stripping it doesn't count.

Which makes me appreciate Olajuwon even more.

Stressfull game but I am glad for the W. Suns were playing great tonight and did not go down easily. Rockets need to work defending the high pick and roll. Next a team that has giving the Rockets trouble. Yes, The Grizz.

Maybe its a sign were going to start using Deke as we head into the playoffs. I'm sure that was their plan all along, rest him until the playoffs approach.

Like I said - a HELL of a night. But sporadic shooting from a point guard is not something we can depend on, especially when we face up with the Mavericks in the playoffs this year.

    Yes, I'm calling it.
