Any time you go into San Antonio and win, that is a big deal, a rare event. After the last three games where the Rockets looked out of gas, a few days of rest seemed to make a huge difference. Encouraging.
Rox 6th man vs Spurs 6th man I hate the way Spurs sixth man tries to take over the game. I'm glad Carl and Lowery were able to come up big for the Roxs. The spurs 6th man kept trying though, everytime he made a play for them and cause a turnover, the spurs couldn't capitalize. That made it an even sweeter victory for Houston. On a night that the spurs Sixth came out strong and ready for them, The Roxs defence, offence and bench came out stronger. Great Victory. The Spurs sixth man should be consider for the sixth man award, He's helped them win a ton of games and some championships. Oh in case you haven't guess, the Spurs sixth man are the Refs.

Congrats to the Rockets on a great win. The big thing was that they didn't pay attention to the score deficit in the first quarter and just kept playing the way they should play. The spurs hit some shots in the 1st quarter that they couldn't keep hitting and so we came back. As long as we don't get frustrated we do okay. Can I also give some props to SA? They are a decent, disciplined, humble team with good leadership and pretty hard working, and I like games against them. I noticed at least 3 or 4 times last night, rockets were helping spurs get up from the floor and vice versa- I don't think you see that with many other teams. Definitely a better group of guys than that OTHER texas team
AB had such an awesome block in the fast break against three spurs. They were going to play monkey in the middle with the little guy and Aaron wouldn't take that crap. Good block/steal AB!
AB gave Duncan respect for his 20,000 but said that the Rockets were here to play spoiler. it looks like the teams have a mutual respect for each other going back to their rivalry in the 90's. that being said, it was annoying to have to read the headlines and to see "Duncan reaches 20,000 in a Spurs loss" absolutely nothing in the story headline that the Rockets went into San Antone and shot the lights out of the building...
