I have to admit that Landrys performances earlier in the season had me doubting/downgrading Scolas value to the team but since the trade he has been sensational!
Definitely we should NOT trade Scola ... we should make some noise so that the front office will rethink their plans. Trade our picks and some other guys, but not Scola. Btw Brooks did not have a good game early in the game, even getting a technical. He started playing better when Lowry was in.
So who was saying Brooks is not capable of allowing somebody else to take the front seat now? He knew the score, he was looking to pass to Scola virtually every possession :grin:
Imagine how good Scola would be if the refs gave him an extra step like most of the other superstars. Instead they sometimes call him for traveling even when he doesn't lift his pivot foot.
I'd say he's now the new LEADER of this team. He may not be officially the captain but by his play and work ethic, he is leading by example and has become one of our reliable go-to guys.
I'm not saying Scola is better than Bosh or Amare, but I would hate to lose him to a bunch of egos who only care about themselves and what they can get, instead of the team.
What a night for Luis Scola ! 44 points and 12 rebounds. Damn unbelievable, he's been sensational and carrying the load of the Rockets' offense since the trade took place last February. Sc-sc-sc-Scola! :grin: Great to still have you on our team.
