He looked better tonight than he did in the first two games.

Budinger's been pretty quiet since his breakout game vs. Detroit. I expect him to get more playing time and have a better game vs. OKC.

I am really getting excited about our depth at the 2/3 position. Ariza, Budinger, Batman, and Tmac. Also, Tmac looked tonight as if he was just trying to fit in, which is good news.

    Missed the first half.

Despite what others here think about the refs. being fair, I think the refs really messed up and very nearly cost us the win.

First, when they reviewed the play at the play when Brooks "lost" the ball out of bounds and they were trying to see how much time to put on the clock they totally ignored looking at the play itself. Brooks was fouled by a reach-in as he was going to the basket, which is why he "lost" the ball.
Second, the flagrant foul by Kidd on Anderson wasn't even looked at.
Third, the call of flagrant foul by Brooks on Dampier was a joke. If that was flagrant then Adelman is the Incredible Hulk.

Nice win because of these transgressions. You have to be proud of the team. A lot of nights they not only have to beat the other team but the refs., too.

Just be glad they didn't change the clock to 1 full second, which is what the time was supposed to be.

Man, from reading this thread, one could get the impression that Luis Scola didn't even play. The guy only scored 19 (9-18), had 10 boards (4 offensive), and 5 assists in almost 44 minutes. Nitwitski tries to shove his elbow down Carl's throat? No problem... Scola steps up.

Proud of these guys! Every night AB steps iy up in the second half, Lowry gutsy as always and Scola, way to pick up the slack!

    Great performance

Yes, I'm so angry after tonight's game that I'm posting this anywhere and everywhere I can (100 bonus points if you can guess the reference in #5):

9 Ways To Tell if You're a Mavericks Fan:

    1. You think the NBA's inaugural season was 1980.
    2. You wear a T-shirt to a Mavericks game honoring your owner with the phrase, "Hey, MC, You Can Touch This!" on it.
    3. You have a permanent speech pattern disability that causes you to say, "Obviously" every time you utter a declarative sentence.
    4. You sleep with Erick Dampier's rookie card under your pillow.
    5. You have bobbleheads of Don Carter and Norm Sonju on your dresser.
    6. Your choice for a new baby girl's name is Chaparral.
    7. Your walls are painted midnight, royal, silver, and white.
    8. You think it's really cool that your city continued its highly original tradition of naming its sports teams after western archetypes, and you've thus petitioned the NBA for an NBDL team for the Dallas area, to be known as the Denton Ranchers.
    9. You utterly disgrace the memory of the legendary Jimmie Walker by screaming "Dy-No-Mite!" every time Barea makes a basket.

Actually.. I think those numbers are misleading.. Scola had a bad game.. he missed many easy, open jumpers that he usually makes.. and most of his points came from easy layups set up by lowry or brooks.. he did use his post up game either..

so was a lil disappointed with my man Scola.. he technically didnt step it up. Lowry did. AB did.

True that. Scola's consistency is being overlooked because we expected him to put up those type of numbers night in, night out... and of course, he doesn't disappoint.

I think Dirk had flashbacks to 2005 with some of McGrady's defense on him before he went out.

Did McGrady play in this game? If so, which quarters did he play in, and how many minutes?

Lowry made 3 three-pointers, actually 4, it is not his thing, he did great in this game. AB can definitely shoot, but he should learn to pass when he is supposed to. Aderson the rookie is hot.

10 rebounds and 50% shooting (not on easy shots as said) what i always expect from luis.
His points may vary on how much he shoots the ball, but the guy is always around 50%.
