Do you think McGrady regains atleast his 07 form by next season?

Do you think Scola stays next season?

Lee, hell no. Dude, is one of the better up and coming bigs out there. I'd take him over Bosh, no question, right now.

Douglas... hell yes that bothers me. Don't know what was with the starters but their defense sucked all game except for a few nice plays by Martin and Ariza. I'm guessing there was no defensive mind to direct them. And the fact that Brooks only got his scoring groove at the end of the game was scary.

Since Feb 1st, Ariza is shooting 43% from the field, 39% on 3s, and 79% on free throws (13 games). Compare that to 38% from field, 30% on 3s, and 64% on free throws before Feb 1st (46 games).

I wouldn't in no way take Lee in over Bosh. I think you should be weary that not even many NY fans think he will be worth the price he asks. IMO he's Scola on a more depleted team so puts up the numbers he does.

Also if the guy was a legit 20-10 guy then why is NY even in this situation? Why do people think NY needs a better team to draw a big star then? I think a lot of people look at his numbers and go  but it's one of those things where you see enough of him and say "He's good...but not that good..."

I like to get opposing fans view on their players. They watch them night in and night out. Roam a NYK board and you will not find many good things said about him, which is a bit odd. Seems some of their fans even think he only cares about his numbers and nothing else.

Battier out with a knee issue,
so Buddinger got some minutes and played well.

Lowry was, as Walt kept saying, the catalyst.
Totally key for multiple runs that kept us in the game.
Knicks assistant coach specifically mentioned Lowry as giving the Knicks fits.

Martin was the workhorse throughout the game.
    Steady, consistent, persistent.

JJ was getting time because we needed more D in there w/o Battier.
And JJ stepped up big time. Hope he stays on that roll. Great game.

And what can you say about AB.
3-10 and then 3-3 to end the game. Dominant closing performance.

And last, but not least, for those who watched the NYC telecast,
Walt Frazier gets some serious kudos for his vocabulary. All the dictionary reading while traveling as a player really shows! Most announcers stick to common jargon, Walt really branches out. I jotted a few of them down. He described AB as a lilliputian, called Lowry lucid, said the Knicks were playing vexing defense. He also called the Knicks crowd juvenile when they showed some kids watching the game -- fellow announcer said, in age though, not in behavior. Toward the end said, "We've seen some perserverence in this game! Then when Knicks bank in a 3 pointer, "You know this is a little serendipidy." And his summary of the game, "invigorating game, excrutiating, and now finally devastating for the Knicks." I'd like to see a Walt Frazier/ Clyde Drexler, joint telecast. That would be awesome!

Yeah, I watched the NY broadcast as well, Walt Frazier is a great color commentator and a really cool guy.

Man, I loved this game. I'd have to say this is my favorite game of the season so far. Great drama and storylines in ex-teammates battling each other to prove their old teams wrong for trading them. I was really happy that JJ got some playing time and was, surprisingly, crucial to winning the game taking all those charges (taking advantage of bad plays by the Knicks of course).

A really entertaining fast pace after a slow start. Where the Lowry haters now? Okay, knee-jerk, it's the Knicks, but you can't deny that if it wasn't for him, who single-handled altered the flow of the game with PG directing, we would of lost. After he and the bench squad came in, the Rockets scored 45 in a single quarter. That's the most points scored against the Knicks in a single quarter this season. Maybe he can't do it against the Celtics or elite teams, but against .500 or below teams, which is the majority of the league, Lowry is absolutely fantastic.

Also we got see some great minutes for the Arizona duo, you really can't underestimate the energy rookies bring. Ferocious rebounding by Hill and I'm glad Bud got his shots, proving that his shot hasn't been off the couple games, he just hasn't gotten good looks or enough minutes to warm up.

    Fun game

Another (dumb)quote on that misguided board:
"Re: jordan hill is gonna hang d'antoni with his dreadlocks igt

Jordan, and Jeffries both are awful. We killed Houston in that trade. To bad we can't trade the refs"

Brooks has that killer instinct/superstar quality that you can not teach, we better hang on to this guy, Joe Johnson would be my only exception, Brooks is our guy!
