Possibly in the 1st picture, but look at the second picture, Hawes has a Raptor Claw grip on Yao's wrist.

I dont think that's Yao shooting, it looks like he's rebounding, which means Garcia was going over his back both times...and Hawes got him on the wrist on one of them.

No, your comments were very obvious, im talking about my post in reference to yours, where people started saying I was taking you serious.

I thought it would be a dead give away when my first sentence asked if you were my EX, but i guess not.

Yao's baseline spins were particularly impressive today.. I know it was Hawes, but it reminded me of 06.

Hawes was not nearly strong enough to defend him. It really was no contest when Yao took his time.

Dude, if I'm not seeing it wrong, it is a fight for the rebound. Regardless, Garcia's obviously bumping Yao from the back and Hawes' hitting Yao's hand in the picture.

Good to see us win but I do wonder if we would have won if Martin played tonight.

I don't want Yao to flop either. The comment was more of a frustration than a real suggestion. The league has got to do something about the flopping, but I do think Yao can act more, yell louder so ref can tell you are being pounded inside. Yao's so heavy, even he's being punched, ref can't tell, coz Yao wouldn't be moving

I do agree with this, Yao doesnt get very animated like most of the bigs in the league when he is getting thrown around. When he complains he is very calm. He needs to watch gametape of DH/Shaq/KG/even Deke back in the day to learn how to MAKE the refs blow the wistle.

Same thing happens with Duncan, he doesnt get to the line as much mainly because he is always calm, yeah he complains ALOT, but he doesnt do it the way that will make the refs call it his way.

Why does Yao have to be the one to adjust? Why dont the refs just call it when he's fouled?

I think the refs have done a better job of not calling fouls when Yao is just standing there and players run in to him, but Yao is still not getting the calls for getting hacked on the arm and pushed in the back.

I hope the coaches keep showing the video of tonight's game to Artest until he replays the game over and over in his sleep from tonight until the end of the playoffs. He played a solid team game tonight and played under control for the most part. He still got his 26 points but he got them, mostly, within the flow of the offense. If he plays like this throughout the playoffs, watch out everyone! If he reverts to his ballhog style of play, the Rockets would be in for an early summer vacation again.

I thought Yao did a lot better when he rush his shot. He made most of his shot when he took less than two dribble. Otherwise the hard double collapse on him with tons of body contact and there is really no room to maneuver for the big guy.

Yao needs to extend the range of his elbow movement when he holds the ball. A couple Mutombo-esque incidents will make help defenders think twice before racing in from the blind side and creating contact.

Yao has to be the one to adjust because the NBA obviously isnt going to. Its been 7 years, at least 4 of him being a dominate center, and they still dont give him the calls.

You know what its called when you keep doing the same thing over and over and over again and expect a different outcome?

Gotta do something to get the calls, and being more of a vocal presence is a much better option then trying to flop.

Right on, I think most of the star players who get the treatments from the ref possess vocal presence or animated movement as they are being fouled (or not fouled...:D). Risk of doing that though is if the ref doesn't call, you may waste an opportunity to score or rebound, but still worth it for the long run

i didnt watch the game, but how can the rockets have only 18 assists when they made like 40 something shots? i know its just statistics and all...its just kinda mind boggling when our offense is supposed to be based on a lot of movement. usually, when you move around, you get open. even when yao is isolated and trying to create his own shot, you cant just stand there the whole time watching him.

    Don't forget to:

    - Fire Rick Adelman.
    - Replace Battier with Wafer in the starting line-up.
    - Replace Scola with Landry in the starting line-up.
    - Magically trade Tracy McGrady.

(I can't believe how many people took your post seriously)
