Other teams are going to make adjustments and give him a tough time, but his focus is solid on the court. Hill drifts in and out of games.

I have clients that give me tickets and I have been to:

    OKC
    Golden State
    Cavs
    Raptors.

My next game is LAC. I am excited about that one.

The most exciting games were the OKC and Golden State though

its sad to see battier play. He needs to come off the bench or gtfoh. The most inconsistent player in rockets uniform ever. The sadder part is that a talented player TW is decaying in the bench while a 31 yr old player with zero offense is out there looking ridiculously stupid so as the coaching staff. Brad miller has more offense weapons and drives to the hole with the worst athleticism ever, but he tries and isnt scared. Sorry for the rant but till I stop changing the channel when I see him making this team suffer I would stop getting mad.

Yea I get frustrated when he is so passive.
The other team can relax sooo much when he has the ball cuz he will immediately look to pass or hand off.

AB really looked awful out there.

Glad to see Bud back. Let's hope his confidence issues are done.

    Pat Pat looks great.

I hate Ricks substitutions/rotations, it wasnt the starters that were playing bad, it was battier that was anchoring them. Just substitute battier not the whole team in one punch.

Ahhhhh. Nothing like a great offensive game for Chase Budinger for the Battier haters to come out of hiding.

Battier needs to "gtfoh"??? He's having a GOOD SEASON! And in case you haven't noticed, this roster sports the likes of Kevin Martin, Aaron Brooks and Chase Budinger on the perimeter. This team NEEDS Shane Battier's defense. And with Martin a no-brainer fixture as the starting SG, Shane Battier needs to START.

Go ask Rick Adelman or Daryl Morey what they think.

They may tell YOU to "gtfoh".

People want us to be the Suns.......all scoring no defense. We almost there...We can be the mini-suns without Nash and Amare.

im not saying Bud is the answer. Bud defense = Battier offense , both cancel out. Yeah we need defense play TW.

I like him starting. I wish he would be a little more aggressive consistently. It almost like he underestimates his own ability sometime. We used to run an occasional play for a midrange j for him... Would like to see more of that

I respectfully disagree. Shane's offense is actually not that bad. Just because he doesn't score a lot of points doesn't mean that he's not at least a competent offensive player. He takes the shots that are open.

    Battier's offense >>> Chase's defense. It's not even close.

Hill is like Rudy gay where as PP is like Andre Iguodala. One gives you more numbers and more flashy dunks. While the other just plays an all around better game that gets you wins. If I have to choose I choose patterson everytime. Fortunately we have both and one is sure to land us a more coveted asset. Unfortunately it might be Patterson. He is far and away better than Favors and probably always will be.

I like Hill, but you can tell he's a guy who picked up hoops late. Patterson just looks smoother out there while Hill's moves are kind of wild jerky.

I love how Patterson snatched the ball away from Ed Davis (I think) twice when both of them were wrestling for position.

I tend to agree HOWEVER Hill/Miller/PP/CBud won't always put up the numbers they put up tonight so Battier will need to score on a constant basis and not disappear. I think to often he passes up open shots that he NEEDS to take but overall he has played well on the offensive end this season to go with his still above average defense.

One game and people forget about every previous game. Budinger had a good shooting night but will not be able to slash like this against a good defensive team. His defense was still atrocious at most times, and I'm not looking for anyone to call out brief instances where he played exceptional D. To the Battier detractors, are you joking me? This guy has stepped his game up this season and we wouldn't be .500 without him.

PatPat showed he will be able to be productive on both ends of the court already, see ya Jordan ;)
