Rafer telling it like it is in post game interview: "we need to understand understand what works... move ball around." Batman's tan "looks like make-up." ;)

The Rockets have bored me to tears most of the season. Even their victories were snoozers, BUT I really enjoyed tonight's game. There was effort and energy which has rarely occurred this season. I really like watching Wafer play instead of an injured TMac.

I'm not saying Tracy isn't hurting the team...

I'm just saying, everybody is acting like Tracy was the problem... when he wasn't.

The problem with this team is the inconsistency. They will shoot great one night, and then shoot horrible the next. They'll defend extremely well one night, and then defend horribly the next.

It's like a roller coaster with these guys. Hell, we've had 4 game winning streaks with T-Mac this season also.

Look at Von Wafer +29. I keep waiting for him to come back down to earth. He never seemed to have an outside shot in prior years, but maybe it was just a lack of playing time, plus working on his shot over time. It's amazing how some guys just need the right opportunity (plus hard work to be in position to take advantage when it comes). He is an amazing story. From just trying to stay in the NBA, to a major contributor and sometimes starter on (we hope) a playoff contender. Hope he can keep up his level of play.

He's not bad at all: he shoots 50% which is higher than the team's FG% of 45.5 :)

    good game.
    reciepe for win:
    1. McGrady don't start
    2. Scola just being Scola
    3. Rafer playing calmly, focus on assists
    4. Battier making shots
    5. Artest being Artest (Baller)
    6. Von Wafer trying to be the next Kobe
    7. Clean it up with Barry/Hayes
    8. Don't play Head
    9. Yao don't foul early-just let em go.
    x. Team-overall calmness and patience

love it when they play like that
    congrats Rockets!!!!!!!!

Good game.Without T-mac everything seems fine!
But Nets is not Lakers,Rocketmen should stay humble and keep going.
Maybe Von can replace Tracy :p :p

When TMac is playing: the team plays 4 on 5 defense and he is a big ball-stopper on offense, not to mention Ron also plays iso offense and Alston's assist ability is greatly reduced. So when TMac is still confused about his knee condition, he better not play and sit and rehab.

I am, he was hurting the team on offense and defense.

Uh, yes he was, he has been a major problem THIS year.

Agreed about inconsistency but a lot of that is because Mr. McGrady has been in and out of the lineup so often.

Just sit him and move on.

Ok... I'm not going to disagree with you.

He's been a part of the problem... but the inconsistency has been the big one this season.

You honestly think the other guys have shot bad because of Tracy? I find that hard to believe.

Tracy is definitely a liability on the defensive end though, so I can see why they would play bad with him in there.

I completely agree with you, but I would feel a lot better if we had somebody like Vince Carter to rely on, rather than Ron Artest just chucking up shots he's not even close to making.

i dont think tmac is the problem. he gets teammates involved.
i think battier is the X factor.
tonights game was the perfect example. if he hits that open
corner three consistently. the sky is the limit.

Last year... George W Bush was still the president. What's your point?
