And this is EXACTLY why Brooks gets so much hate. Some fans are so locked in to the traditional definition of a point guard. You'd thinkt he younger fans would be more likely to see that Brooks is a new type of point, i guess not. Should dirk just post up and block shots guys? Should Spencer Hawes get off the 3 point line? Why don't you go tell Nate robinson he sucks when he scores 20 in a game? the league is DIFFERENT nowadays. positions are beign redefined, just like the game, deal with it.

why is it so diffiuclt without Ron? Maybe because it's also without TMAC, and also without YAO! Humm, why would a team have trouble when they lose 3 stars?? Humm...

Irony is...ourlast game could put us in a situation to move Dallas down to 8th...Move Utah up to 7th...and move us up to 2...

HOpefully though...this won't happen. Hopefully Utah loses 2/3 games and they will no longer be of any threat to anyone.

Just came back from the game, and damn Oracle Arena parking was ridiculous. A's + Warriors game at the same time? Ouch. Took over a hour to hit the freeway.

Anyways, anybody watching Houston FSN feed see two asian guys with a Yao jersey and a Rockets Warmup jacket? We were extremely lame, cuz we didn't know we were being recorded, until after the camera guy said it was going to be broadcasted in Houston.

leave Utah to Denver! I think we better stay at #3, now Utah seems likely to lock up #7, cuz they cant win at LA. It would be better for us to take NO rather than Mavs

we had 18 turns while there were only 8 for the warriors. we are so lucky to get this win.

BTW, GSW is a team that is famous for their run-and-gun play.

Aaron had 1 poor play in the last 5 minutes, and thats when he got swarmed on a drive and I thought tried to pass it but it got stolen. I think the official scorer counted it as a blocked shot though. Anyhoo, he hit that big time 3 point play, and then the CLUTCH FTs.

I had it pegged in the game chat that once Brooks had that turnover/blocked shot late the GARM would have idiots whining about his low assist numbers and TOs completely ignoring his clutch contributions the play before.

Aaron is NOT Steve Nash nor is Rick Adelman asking him to be. Go watch the Rockets form 85-86 when Lucas was out. They basically played with a shooting guard, 2 small forwards, and 2 centers. They were very effective. You don't HAVE to have a 8 assist guy at the point. Aaron is essentially a 2 guard that can handle the ball well for the team. Get off his back. The offense creates shots for the team. They arent relying on one player to break down the defense and create plays for his teammates.

In the words of Pepsi Max:

    WAKE UP PEOPLE!!

Brooks is not a traditional point quard and that is ok as long as he could shoot and we win. I noticed that recently Ron became a better passer to his teammates and has had more assists than his previous games, which is sweet.
    Go Rockets!
