when do you guys think tmac will be 100 because that will also lessen yaos minutes because we gotta have atleast 2 guys that can take over on the floor most of the time so that there not doubled like crazy. i know the knicks want to get rid of curry but we have nothing to give them, i think battier and head would work but i like bat
The Rockets beat the MavReferees tonight! Take that, Mark Cuban! Bribing and cheating DOES NOT work against us anymore! GO ROCKETS!
maybe someone can clear this up, but why da ***** did ron get a tech? i honestly didn't see anything wrong, i was pissed off, i just felt they neglected him just because of his history.
i think cause he rushed in there like a beer hit him. I really dont think ronron will get into trouble because he knows everyone is watching him in those situations.
Yeah haha this is the truth. Unless you're talking about food... Yao needs less minutes and he'll get less when T-Mac rounds back into form. I'm really impressed with Aaron Brooks and I didn't know Carl Landry's jumper is that smooth?
Ron Artest look great today, as well as Yao. Yao and Ron FTW! McGrady is now our third option, unfortunately. Brooks also played great today.
When TMac's knee is fully healed, I think we should try this starting line-up once in a while. Point Guard: Tracy McGrady Shooting Guard: Ron Artest Center: Yao Ming Small Forward: Shane Battier Power Forward: Luis Scola Great size with this line-up!
1. Yao Ming is a legit MVP candidate 2. Ron Artest brings toughness and emotion that i havent seen since god knows when 3. Tmac needs to keep playing reduced minutes, his knee is not good and there is no point keepin ghim out there. Bad for his knee, bad for the team 4. Brooks is REALLY fast
Did anybody else puke when they showed the stats for McGrady and Dirk from the game in 2004 where T-Mac scored 48 on 57% shooting, and Dirk had 53 points, going 22-23 from the free throw line?
Keep in mind, this is the same T-Mac that was going to miss the opening of the season because he was still recovering... It was guts we wanted and it's guts we're getting, he knows it's now or never and I'm loving every minute of it! Let's find out what we're made of...
Rockets fan since 1984. Lived in Houston, now living in Indonesia. Really is a bummer with the slow internet speed here. I have to watch the game on yahoo.com with the 30 refresh to see what is happening. Returning to the U.S. in couple of weeks and hoping to catch a few games on t.v. before returning to Indonesia in January. My thoughts on the game: Really good game considering we are still without our best man defender (Battier) and T-Mac not at full strengh. Was surprised to see Brooks back in the line up so soon. He played great. Continue to use Alston as the starter so that you can have Ron, Aaron, Carl, and Barry as your second unit. This way you don't skip a beat offensively. Great job by Chuck tonight. Most of the time he gets negative feedback due to his weak offensive skills, but he showed why he is still on this team with his defensive play. Great free throw shooting. Vast improvement over last year. I agree that Yao played to many minutes. He needs to sit around the three minute mark of the first period and return around the seven minute mark of the second, same type playing type in the second half. Better game than against the Grizzlies. Dallas scored alot of points but not worried. When you have a good team like they have, and lets be truthful, they still are a good team even though I despise them, your going to give up points. We stopped them when it counted in the fourth.
Seeing Artest standing up for Yao when the other team players rough him up was as good as him dropping 29. To quote Bill, Artest got some sand in his pants
